No chance AJ goes to DAZN. Even if they can match an offer from Sky (which they can’t without going bankrupt), he’s not going to join because his commercial value and sponsorship value will plummet.

Best viewing figures he will get on DAZN will be half at best at what he pulls in on Sky so a much reduced exposure.

Funny how Eddie says there are no plans for DAZN PPV.

Joshua and Whyte are his only 2 PPV fighters.

    @Jurgen

Ok Mr J, Sky Sports PPV is basically dead in the water.

It's very hot outside, don't drink too much and sit in the sun while celebrating

    I'm celebrating already :beer-toast1:

Can see the price going up in the Autumn with an offer of a yearly sub on Black Friday.

Even with AJ on DAZN the numbers don't make sense, even with significant price increases (and that's coming) still doesn't add up. On a streaming only platform for a niche sport how can you possibly create new stars ?? Yes this is a different era but history suggests you need exposure on either terrestrial or regular Sky Sports to become a draw and it's names like AJ, Hatton, Calzaghe, Naz etc. that will drive subs.
Outside of AJ who likely only has at most 3 or 4 more fights who is there on Eddie's roster ?? Conor Benn ?? Okolie ??

So, where does this leave Sky?

When is Warren's deal up with BT?

Sky will likely go after MTK/Sauerland cards in the short term with Mick perhaps joining at a later date if he chose to leave Channel 5.

I doubt Sky bother with US cards anymore unless they involve YouTubers on PPV.

Sky will apparently consider showing fights from any promoter

Very pleased for Adam Smith who will now focus on '2 warriors throwing 3 dart combinations' and 'here is Van Gerwen, a reformed family man who used to look like Noddy Holder and grew up drinking in very hard pubs in Saudi Arabia'

A more appropriate comparison would be with the UFC.

There cannot be any cards out there any worse than the one sided pony served up by Matchroom over the past 5 years.

The Sky Sports Loot Office will still be around.

The two Fightzone cards this weekend are better than most of them.

Matt Macklin must follow Adam Smith over to the darts.

Adam - 'how are you scoring this Darts match Matt'
Matt - 'I know nothing about Darts Adam'
Adam - 'Yes Matt but it was the same with boxing'
Matt - 'To be fair Adam my contract was limited to repeating yes Adam'

At least 16 cards a year. So could be paying a tenner a month, so be £8.75 a card. Excluding America
