There is so much talk about DAZN in the UK, how many people actually have access to this app and how do you all use it?

I don't, and have tried but it's still quite unclear how to access this via my TV. I don't wan to watch fights on a laptop, I want to access it quickly and easily via my TV.

I have Virgin Media and a Sony smart TV, don't see the app anywhere. I've got Netflix, Amazon prime etc etc, no DAZN to be seen. I've got an up to date digital box (latest one virgin supply) and no DAZN.

Any idea how I can access it?

Don't mean to detract from the thread, but any help would be appreciated. If it's so hard to access for others it does make me wonder how successful it will be...

Yeah, Chromecast or a games console is the best option. Native apps on smart TVs are dying out a bit, as it’s a pain for the app developers to develop different versions for each type of TV (unless you’ve got something like an Android TV).

I think people are getting quite used to using chromecast or games consoles nowadays for things that aren’t Netflix or Prime Video.

You need to search for it on the app store on your TV then install

Agree. What this does give him though is to get UK fighters on the international cards without having to hold them back for a sky card. Danger is that he pushes his up and coming UK fighters too soon.

Found this interesting too. Not sure if it’s going to be more linear though and some sort of partnership with BT maybe?

Excited for this, a new chapter of British boxing.

Fascinating to see how this unfolds.

La Liga was regular Sunday night fare for me and freinds when it was on sky. As soon as it went from sky we moved on. Didn't chase it. Plently will do the same with matchroom. They wouldn't be replaced by some mythical group of boxing diehards who haven't had sky sports in the decades it's had boxing suddenly finding a interest in dazn.

Do we know how people watched say the Maurico Lara/Josh Warrington fight or Lawrence Okolie?

I think the big part of this, which is why I am very much on the fence in terms of my excitement, IF Eddie believed the Chisora vs Parker card was genuinely great, then we will still end up with a bull**** product. If he was just saying that to get sales, we might be alright

The difference now is he has to stand on his own two feet, DAZN in the U.K. is essentially going to be Matchroom boxing, if he continues to put out a sub par product people will not subscribe, with Sky it was about more than Matchroom boxing he could put on any garbage but they also had the football, F1, Cricket etc etc and viewers would tune in as they had access anyway, Sky Sports is a complete package DAZN is not, very few people will actually cancel their Sky sub DAZN is now going to be a additional cost so he has to put out a quality product as well as DAZN getting the pricing right.
