Is Nort Beauchamp now being used as a gatekeeper for Aussie prospects?

On the subject of Kiwis coming over here to fight Australians (I mean, where else would they go?), apparently Justis Huni wants to face Junior Fa before the year is out.

What you think of them apples, Kiwis?

If Justis puts a major whoopin' on Junior Fa, does it make him the #1 H/W from this part of the World? The King of the South?

I think it’s a competitive fight between two blokes in a weight class where there aren’t many options. From Nort’s point of view, it’s surely better than losing to Richie Hadlow or fighting guys on debut. No doubt the purse is infinitely better as well. Good on him for testing himself.

I mean really Nort had two options..fight in Australia or fight in Enzed. So if they offering him the dollyerdoos why not.

I think it will be a good fight. Goodman loves that left hook..the awkward lefty Kiwi, which happens to be Jacinta Ardern's nickname aswell, might find a way to neutralise that punch and make a good go of it.

Nah I'd still have Parker ahead of him but Huni will surpass him eventually. Fa won't take the fight either unless he gets offered plenty for it.

Can't say I'm overly excited at seeing Fa anytime soon either. He's in Hughie Fury territory where he fights so negatively that he's in the who needs him club and does nothing but make his opponents look bad.

Brownes boxing career is about as credible as party boy is on ESB now.

If Fa had 5 points more IQ then he could have beaten Parker who looked the worst he's ever been that night. Unfortunately that's Fa's ultimate problem. He's rather thick, so it seems. Hughie would UD Fa rather easily imo. Fa will become the new Dimitrenko imo; gets a shock win for every four losses to prospects and contenders - all the while making good coin vs the Hunis, Parkers, Mckeans and Goodalls downunder. He'd possibly pick u a win vs one of those guys keeping him floating between gatekeeper and top25 cusp.

Jason Whateley added to the card. Opponent being finalised now. Whateley has been giving Gallen great rounds each week and has earned himself a spot on the card.

Agreed, I think Browne's punch resistance is completely gone. Gallen didn't even really get him with a good shot he just bum rushed him hitting him with glancing shots and that was enough to take him out.

    * Liam Paro Townsville 26 June fight with Steven Gago postponed to later date in Brisbane as Paro injured. Card still go ahead with Keller vs Bam Bam as Main Event.
    * Brock Jarvis suitable opponent couldn't be found for June 16 so he is off the card .
    * Jayde Mitchell vs Dane Mulivai 10 Aug. With COVID 19 let's hope the all Vict clash with Zac Dunn can finally be made.
