When Canelo took that L to Mayweather, you didn't see him storm out the ring like a sore loser like GGG did now did he. He stayed in the ring, gave an interview, congratulated Mayweather, gave Mayweather respect, owned the L, that's how you do it, that's how a true sportsmen handles defeat.

It tells us what happened. And it shows you how Sanchez responded. Sanchez talked about fair judging, gave his respect to Canelo, said it would be FOOLISH to criticize the judges, said it's time for him and Gennady to take their lumps. So anotherwords Sanchez is pretty much labeling all of GGG's fans who went on to criticize the judges or not take their lumps foolish. Straight from the horses mouth.

And to his credit Gennady did show some class there in the hallway and congratulated Canelo, but it would have been better had he done that in the ring. And if he done it in the ring, Canelo would have respected him more for showing him respect man to man. If GGG wouldn't have run away, I guarantee you there would be much more chance of a rematch happening. GGG threw that all away when he ran away like he did. And deep down you know that's true.

and like i said, he's telling you exactly what you want to hear.
you don't need other people to reinforce what you think about a fight IF you can be imprtial.

A loss is a loss. And it was not a clear comfortable UD. It was a CLOSE MD.

Floyd Canelo was a MD. Canelo GGG 2 was a MD also.

    Remember?

Floyd was damn near in tears after that decision lol.

This is the most awkward interview ever. GGG's eyes are all over the place like he's searching for a cue sheet with his answers written on them. GGG trying to speak english is cringeworthy as hell. English isn't Canelo's first language either, but he doesn't speak broken english like GGG does. When Canelo speaks english, he speaks it well, he doesn't sound like a broken malfunctioning robot when speaking english like GGG does.

GGG don't know why Canelo said no, maybe because you ran out that ring after the rematch. Maybe had you man'd up and shown him some respect he'd be more willing to fight you again. It's pathetic seeing GGG begging for a 3rd Canelo fight in this interview.

While I'm farrrrrr from a Canelo fan, just stop with the "potty mouth" thing.

Bro, these are boxers, not ice skaters. And it's 2021, not 1955.

Canelo is an adult. Adults tend to drop F-bombs when they're pissed or annoyed.

Spare us the role model to kids SOB story. Kids hear their parents and peers drop F-bombs daily - Canelo has zero impact on how they act.

    Who gives a ****?

Wow that's a lot of words to say that I'm right and you are wrong.

    Welcome back to reality.

... because Canelo took a beating, and he didn't want any more Golovkin smoke for anything. Golovkin ran out the ring? Canelo ran clear out of the entire friggin division :D

Reality? YOU in reality, that's funny. Reality is that Canelo beat GGG which to this day you still haven't accepted. You're what Sanchez described as "foolish" for not taking your lumps and not accepting the loss.

You're claiming some kind of moral victory because you found interviews saying GGG wanted a 3rd fight, and you found the interview in the hallway after the fight where he said he wanted a 3rd fight. Wow BCS8 great work, you got me, you showed that GGG while trying to sneak out the backdoor said YES when Osuna pressed him on wanting to fight again. LMAO you're pathetic man. You think I never saw that interview before? That's the equivalent of a parent calling their kid downstairs because dinner's ready and the kid saying OK I'll be right down. Of course when pressed he's going to say YES. But when it counted, he ran out that ring. Had he stuck around after the decision was read, in the ring next to Canelo, had GGG created a Big Drama Show in the ring, had he claimed he won in the ring, demanded a rematch in the ring, it would have been a whole different story, it would have had a much greater effect and served his interests better, it would have satisfied his fans. Deep down, you know that. But your such a GGG fanboy all you can do is play damage control and defend him cowardly running away and trying to sneak out the backdoor.

Indeed! We have established that these claims by yourself are incorrect:

Shadow "Neither Canelo or GGG were calling for a 3rd fight"
Shadow "It took GGG a year for him to build up the courage to start talking about a 3rd fight."

And thanks to these quotes, we can establish that you are a liar as well:

Shadow "You think I never saw that interview before?"
Shadow "I didn't hear GGG calling for Canelo to fight him again."

Only one of those two quotes by yourself can be correct; they are mutually exclusive. I leave it to you to decide which one is the truth and which one is the fib.

If we're gonna get technical, you claimed that DAZN "promised" GGG a Canelo fight. DAZN wanted to make that fight, but you claiming they promised GGG a Canelo fight is just not factual. The fight would still have to be negotiated, there was no agreement to specific opponents when either Canelo or GGG signed with DAZN. If DAZN promised GGG a Canelo fight, then surely GGG's contract with DAZN would have been voided by now.

As far as the interview in the hallway, I've specifically referenced that interview before, Osuna famously asked GGG if Canelo fought Mexican Style and GGG admitted he did. My point was that GGG wasn't going out of his way to call out Canelo. Of course he wanted to avenge the loss, but there's a difference that's why I posted the quote about calling for the lion vs when the lion is actually coming at you.

GGG never accused Canelo of ducking him like you're saying. GGG never made a video looking into the camera appealing to Canelo directly and calling for a 3rd fight. Even in that interview where GGG says he sent Canelo the contract, GGG said he "didn't know why" Canelo said no. GGG is being very passive aggressive when asked about a 3rd fight. He very nonchalantly says he wants it but he hasn't gone out of his way to appeal to Canelo directly. Just looking at his body language, GGG looks very uncomfortable when talking about a 3rd fight with Canelo. His eyes are wandering around the room, he's not looking directly at the interviewer when answering that question, anotherwords it's not coming from the heart. He's saying one thing but his body is saying something else.

The expectation by everybody was that if Golovkin wanted to make the Canelo trilogy he'd have to go to DAZN. He did so and everybody was keen for the fight ... except canelo. I agree that DAZN cannot force Canelo to fight Golovkin at gunpoint.

DAZN Executive Chairman John Skipper is determined to secure a third fight between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin in the future.

According to Ring Magazine, Golovkin has been approached by sports streaming service DAZN, and Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions.

So yeah, clearly DAZN had promised GGG a third fight with Canelo, especially since GGG states that he had a signed contract to that effect. Perhaps where it went wrong is that DAZN did not close the deal on Canelo's end. But Golovkin was clear in his belief that he'd get a third Canelo fight.

OK, so then you agree that this is the bull**** quote: Shadow "I didn't hear GGG calling for Canelo to fight him again."

If GGG failed twice then your saying Canelo failed once?
