Rejuvenated interest for this rematch after Donaire blasted Oubaali last Saturday to win the WBC belt. Both Inoue and Donaire have expressed interest in becoming undisputed champion with Inoue currently holding the WBA and IBF belts. The other champion is Casimero and if by chance Donaire beats his countryman a Inoue vs Donaire rematch would be huge.

    First fight. :chuck:

First fight was a classic. Nonito had his moments, albeit 2 big moments, but a one-eyed Inoue from the second round still beat Nonito comfortably. He landed the 2 best punches he could have landed and Inoue wasn't badly hurt.

I see only bad things for Nonito in the rematch.

Inoue is one of the few guys to continue with their career after such an injury.
It´s a strong possibility that Donaire could make it much, much worse.

I think Inoue blows out Nonito in the rematch. He had double vision from round 2 on and the referee ruined what was supposed to be a KO.

Like I said, Nonito already landed the 2 biggest money shots that he could have possibly landed.

If Inoue hadn't suffered the injury so early, he would have taken Nonito out before the 6th.

I don't really understand situation in this division. So Inoue have TWO belts ? IBF and WBA super ? and RIgo has regular ?

He needs to fight winner of Rigo - Casimero.

Inoue most likely will, or Donaire will unify with the winner of that (he might do because they all fight with PBC normally at present). Either way there's an undisputed fight in sight and I hope it happens.

I like Fulton but he's quite hittable and was hurt by Arnold Khegai before who's not that big of a hitter and more a volume puncher. Khegai actually have Fulton a very good fight, he showed a few weaknesses in him.

Donaire put everything on the line in the last fight but apart from hurting Inoue in the 9th round, he was being beaten for the most part. He was hurt multiple times in the fight by head and body shots yet had the will to power through it. I can only imagine his durability won't be quite the same and that Inoue will find the mark with his vision intact.
