Why does Antonio Margarito get more hate than Canelo?

The answer is simple. The stuff you listed about Canelo is made-up nonsense.

But as far as who gets more hate, on this forum at least, I think it's pretty clear by now that Canelo gets more hate than Margarito. Because Canelo has a ton of haters who make up all kinds of stuff trying desperately to make him look bad.

I have posted this a ton of times but Margarito was never officially convicted of loading gloves. They just found a used piece of gauze that is all. Officials from State Athletic Commission and a representative from opposing boxer monitor the wrapping process. Anyone who knows a thing about boxing knows that you can't ****ing load gloves or use plaster of Paris or similar **** in these circumstances. There is not a single evidence against Margarito.

As for the Canelo, OP listed stuff why he is hated and i agree with all the points.

Margarito had loaded gloves. He could have killed someone in the ring. He's a psychopath and should be locked in prison. It's disgusting what he did. He's lucky he didn't murder someone.

What about his head trainer, Javier Capetillo, admitting in the commission hearing on the issue that they had indeed used loaded hand wraps. He claimed they were in his bag for sparring and he used the wrong insert in the wrapping process. But he confirmed it was indeed an illegal loaded pad. That is a fact.

The hate for Antonio Margarito was inititiated by the so called elite 154 & 160 pound boxers who were obviously afraid to get into the ring & fight him but he was a serious obstacle for them & he had to be removed. I'm totally convinced of this & no one has provided the slightest piece of evidence to make me even consider I'm wrong

At most a technical offence as the pads were deemed harmless to any opponent or any advantage to Antonio by the independent lab that tested them. The loaded gloves story is bs. It never happened like people said. They used an old pad. Which isn’t allowed and they removed it. People make it to be a Resto like thing and it wasn’t.
