There's no such thing as a legal but unfair advantage.

So someone who has a stinging, blinding jab shouldn't use it, or it's unfair for the competition that you have a great left hook to the body? Perhaps excellent punch output? And how about quit being a southpaw and use a proper stance, u unorthodox c/t? Is sooooo unfair.:duh

I am also on the Subriel hype train-bandwagon-hypewagon-band train. Anybody who tries to bang with him gets stopped eventually... Taylor could outbox him though.

**** off you *****.. Is it not hard to understand that some fighters can weigh 5-20lbs more than their opponents on fight night and have a legal but unfair (and a significant) advantage? That's what a weight bully smart ass, really not a difficult concept to get your head around.. Just because they can make weight comfortably does not mean its not an unfair advantage

Yeah apart from there are weight classes for a reason you fanny. Why do you think there are weight classes? Because weight is a highly significant factor in a fight that can minimise other advantages. Oh yeah and funnily enough boxing is categorised into weight classes for a reason and not categories such as speed or "blinding jabs"

And yes there is such thing as an unfair but legal advantage you fool.. Boxing rules & structure are by no means good let alone perfect. Rehydrating significant amounts more than an opponent takes advantage of the flaws in the system

Wow you really are a smowflake. So what are the required dimensions for the weight classes? And have you considered the negative impact of draining yourself to attain that so called weight advantage? Is every human frame assigned a particular rehydration corridor? Is that written in the rules and regs? I have so many questions for you but I don't want to trigger you....theres a fine line I can't cross in order to gain the wisdom.

A "weight bully" is literally someone who respects and makes weight despite being quite large for it, and that definition, much like your own argument, defeats itself - if someone makes weight, it's 100% fair game.

Or perhaps they would avoid getting hit that way, either way same result.

I think his strength is more like about volume, plus he was smart letting Jukembaev beat himself by constantly pushing until he was gassed.

He's very exciting and might beat anyone or lose to someone down in the rankings. If he goes up past WW he'll start taking a lot of KO losses, but no one at 140 will want this kind of problem. He's destined to have a difficult career.

Snowflake? What a halfwit word to use.. Shut up you useless cretin. You have just skipped over the very valid elements of the advantage weight bullying.

It doesn't take an expert to see the flaws in the system. And the main area of contention is the dehydration of the fighter which can be overcome (possibly) by setting a second weigh in on the fight day nearer to the fight not at 10am or earlier on fight day (as per IBF) - which allows further hydration. From there a rehydration limit can be set 10lbs over the limit and the second weigh in would be public. In this instance, fighters would have 10lbs to rehydrate and negate some of the effects of dehydration. If weight bullies require more poundage to negate the dehydration then that's on them. If these guys want to weight bully and fool the public then there going to have to deal with the risk.

The one disadvantage of the above is that fights could get called off or be debates as to whether to continue if a certain opponent weighs over the limit

In fact maybe there doesn't even have to be a limit, maybe they can just name and shame the weight bullies who weigh in 10lbs+ more than their opponent fight night. But no one will do that because its in the interest of all promoters to hype up the next weight bully hypejob ($$$$$$). Thered have to be independent body which is actually able to scrutinise the system for this to even be considered.. And I'm not sure if there's any independent non corrupt body on boxing anymore

Come on let's hear your response oh wise one
