Weight bullies are common in every combat sport, from boxing to mma. Chavez Jr was a weight bully, Nery was a weight bully, Donaire is a weight bully, Canelo at 154 was a weight bully hence why he flattened Khan. The list goes on.

Wild that they keep referring to Donaire as "an older fighter" and treat him like he's already on the verge of being shot.

And this was seven years ago.

And that's what happens when Donaire fights a guy his size. God I hope Rigo gets to Donaire before Donaire can get to Inoue, so that Rigo can school him and take his soul again. I actually like Donaire but weight bullying is just as dangerous as PEDs, probably worse, just ask Joey Gamache. So I can't condone it.

You have ATGs from the past that have look larger, it’s not uncommon. You don’t hear people complaining about Thomas Hearns, Alexis Arguello, Carlos Zarate, Eusebio Pedroza or Hilario Zapata being weight bullies. Hell based on your logic I guess Crawford and Haney can be seen as weight bullies well.

I’ll say this again... As long as you can make the weight you aren't a weight bully.

Weight bullying to me is when you play hydration games so well that you end up vastly outweighing your opponent on fight night. Boxers who put 15%+ of their body weight back on overnight or boxers who use their market power to force people away from their most effective weight (either by moving too far up or too far down) are weight bullies. Simply going by height isn't an effective way to gauge whether they are a weight bully. Fundora isn't a heavyweight, no matter how tall he is.

I don't see any evidence to suggest that Donaire has done anything that would categorize him as a weight bully.

Ofcourse Crawford is a weight bully, have you seen his fight against Gamboa? Crawford killed himself to get down to the same weight class as Gamboa because he knew that on fight night he would be three weight divisions heavier than Gamboa.

Why do you think Crawford avoids any challenges at his weight, 147 lbs? A weight bully like Donaire, Nery, Crawford can only beat good boxers that are much smaller than themselves.

Agreed, well said. Donaire can only get away with his legal cheating because he has fooled everyone, either intentionally or unintentionally, into believing he is a saint.

Donaire is not bigger than Pac.Stupidest thing I've ever heard on here, boxing isn't about height. And he was about an inch taller than Frampton so he's not 5ft 7, I've met Frampton and he's under 5ft 5 so Donaire is most likely under 5ft 6

No no no. Boxing is built on a foundation of yesterday's stars getting beat down by younger fighters.

If he's too big for the weight then he's weight drained which is a disadvantage.

He didn't break any rules. He made the weight correctly. I don't have an issue with it. That of course, is if what you say is true. I think you are way off the mark on thos one to be honest.
