Is the brother that Mayweather is 'fighting' any better or different? Any different characteristics? Can't bring myself to use YouTube for non boxing matters
I did not had watched Tommy. Maybe he is good? Maybe he is good and will improve? I can't judge lad only form these fights in pro boxing he had. I do not see problem to finish all pro boxing opponents he had in distance. Maybe he is good? We will see, I think I can't judge, there in record some bags and 1 lad who is very experienced journeyman.
He'd beat Jake Paul, just comparing the two you can already see who would win. Tommy will press the action and have Paul out of there in a 4 rounds max. Regardless Tommy Fury is utter trash and would get folded by high end journeyman in seconds
You’re basing this on Jake being able to stop: 1) a YouTuber who’s never boxed before. So like your random cashier at Walmart jumping in the ring. 2) a retired basketball player. 3) a wrestler with 0 talent for striking. jeez... levels man. Any decent amateur would smash Jake, Tommy would take him out inside the 1st round. That’s why Jake hasn’t answered. Tommy is a reality TV star so has msm clout, brother of the world HW champ and a pro boxer. If Jake could beat him, he would fight him and make a ton of money.
Give both of them a couple of years. In reality, they're both novices, but happen to have gained fame outside of boxing, Take that fame away, are they really doing anything different than most over 4-0/ 6-0 prospects out there?
Any decent amateur would beat Tommy too. Just because his big brother is the HW champion, doesn't make him any more skilled. He has no real amateur experience. Have the guys that Jake Paul beat been any worse than the guys Tommy has beaten?
Better than some worse than plenty. Fact is, these are the kind of guys, who, if they didn't have the names they had, would have 15 fights before you'd even think of judging whether they were any good or not.
I know yeah. He's probably also worse than Lewis, Ali and the Klitschko brothers. Total waste of time.
At least the guys Tommy fought has been in the ring before, despite their losing records. Jake's opponents combined boxing experience is 0. 0 + 0 = 0, so Jake's boxing exp might as well be 0 as far as I'm concerned. And just on the eye test, Tommy moves better, has more fluid jab, right hand, better head movement, better defensive movements. Jake looks like someone who's been in the ring a couple of years and is having his first couple of fights. He looks terrible. He relies on that big right-hand swing. Askren was so bad, you could take someone with decent talent, train them for 6 months and they would have done the same to Askren.
