It seems obvious to every true boxing fan that Canelo is deathly afraid of boxers like Charlo, Benavidez, Andrade, and every fighter at light heavyweight, cruiserweight, and heavyweight.

While Canelo pretends that his quest to unify super middleweight is some sort of historic feat, it seems to a lot of people that it is a carefully constructed attempt to avoid the dozens of aforementioned fighters I named above.

So the question is, what do you think Canelo would have done if Benavidez had never lost his title on the scales? Would he have stayed at middleweight? Would he have collected the other three titles and spent the rest of his career fighting every other super middleweight and hoping Benavidez would eventually get stripped? Or would he have simply collected three belts and retired?

Benavidez might be the easiest fight out of the three names mentioned.
You’re probably one of the guys that thought he would never fight GGG neither.

He had no interest in that belt before Benavidez had to vacate.

Benavidez is not the easiest fight. And he fought ggg after years waiting for him to get old. Still he lost the first fight clearly.

    This is complete nonsense.

Canelo stacks the deck so far in his favor that the outcome is assured. Catchweights, rehydration clauses, short notice camps, clenbuterol, bought judges... these things remove his fear and allow him to move forward like a mini German ginger tank because he knows as long as he’s not knocked out, he wins.

What Canelo is ACTUALLY afraid of is humiliation. Knowing he lost in a near shut out to Mayweather despite the bought 114-114 card. Knowing he lost to GGG in the first match despite the bought 118-110 card.

Charlo loses. Benavidez loses. Andrade loses.

They will all lose happily, selling themselves like prostitutes walking up and down the Las Vegas strip for that Canelo payday because they are businessmen and Canelo is a well paying Brand.

He did hand the WBC belt back rather than fight GGG. He also Popped dirty for Peds causing another duck. A Peds popping Ginger coward dont want no part of Benevidez

The only thing I would imagine stopping this fight is the fact that Benavidez doesn’t have anything to offer. No belt and he’s not a big name, plus he’s a high risk fight. I can’t really be mad at Canelo since Benavidez is undisciplined and likes coke

All the dudes that have been named as guys Canelo wouldn't dare fight, let alone survive to see the final bell if he did, he has beaten. He's made a fool out of a lot of you. Have some shame!

He's clearly avoiding a GGG rematch. And the moment he stops running from GGG it'll be because he decided to cherry pick an old shot fighter. Truly shameful.
