    Nathan Heaney is the reason behind the card but i dont think hes a big enough draw. You dont think If Yarde and Arthur come through their fights they'll fight here?

    Heaney at the moment could probably draw 1500 on his own in Stoke at a push. I’m not sure where the nearest large indoor facility is to Stoke but I’d start with that and build your way up.

    The Bet365 Stadium is a massive ask for any promoter to fill with a domestic talent.

    Won’t be time to have their fight this year there. They’re both out the end of July and obviously the Britannia is an outdoor venue, no event will be taking place there in November.

    So what would the plan be? A few stiff’s for a year for the pair of them? Or have it this year in August? Could throw Dubois in with someone decent, Tommy Fury back out, Liam Williams? Sonny/Charlie Edwards.

    That’s what he said he could have sold last night, he just looked average to me but I would not be surprised l if they could get 10,000 in there by simply tapping into Stoke’s support, get him on the pitch before ko or at HT in a game once tickets are on sale, plaster him around Stoke FC social media feeds and local tv and papers, football fans will just attend for the atmosphere and night out and the novelty of it being at their stadium.

    Course they would if they promoted with a couple of big names on the card. But Frank would need to start promoting that and hyping it now ready for 18 months down the line

    Stoke have **** all support now they are in the championship. To get 10k in would mean more than 50% of football supporters buying tickets.

    Don't underestimate the people of Stoke. If any part of the country is up for a fight it's them. As long as Frank ensures the traditional Queensberry punch up in the cheap seats he'll sell out without having to put any actual boxers on.

    Stoke lads always used to be up for a dust up. I think that's why they call it the potteries, because they need to keep replacing all the broken cups and saucers.
