He's making his US debut at the end of August against his mandatory. The CBS Mccarthy fight will be on the second fight camp card on August 7th. Anthony Fowler is on the first card on July 31st. Another fighter who will not be on fight camp is Ted Cheeseman who will be fighting Troy Williamson in September.
Really will be interested to see what the Fight Camp cards are like, will be a very good guide as to the quality control actually looks like
Beginning to look like same clowns, same acts under new circus tent. The only difference appearing so far is an extra payment for boxing fans. Huge deal he said so looking for a cracking fight camp with no Pay per Puddings in sight.
Makes my question yesterday even more confusing. At least 3 world title fights and Okolies not one of them.
After all the hype and excitement at the end of that IFL interview where Eddie was supposedly writing down fights on a notepad, what has been rumored to be made and on the 3 fight camps so far is quite underwhelming. With the extra budget, this being a launch, and the many months Eddie has known about this for I had been hopping for some big domestic fights, something of the caliber of Cheeseman vs Fowler...if the budget is there why not?
Maybe Eh Day will give something back to the loyal fans and give us Tony Dosh PPV v Usyk at Fight Camp.
