Watching the Gronkowski brothers spar Logan was embarrissing. Hockey players and maybe tennis players are probably the only non-combat sports athletes I see doing well in boxing.

 

Yeah and he was honest at least about just living out his dream and not insulting the sport by suggesting he's going to make a serious run. Just a feel-good one-off like Dewey Bozella on that B-Hop undercard some years back. (when he won that year's Ashe Courage Award from ESPN)

 

Maravilla came from soccer & bicycling - which makes sense, as they are two huge endurance/cardio sports.

 

Maravilla was special. Soccer players and cyclists usually have terrible hands, they are all lower body and would be better in kick boxing, muay thai, or mma.

 

Ocho got hit with a good hook, i was surprised he got up and went the distance... entertaining fight tho.

 

Annoyed that I can't even find a shaky ringside fan-cam of Lobo Torres' bout on Twitter or anything.

Hurd looks like this guy I went to high school with.

Really weird they have this subordinate on the billing order to Jack vs. Colina, since Arias is a former world rated contender and Hurd a former champ. Granted, of course Badou is a former champ himself and Dervis technically holds a major org world ranking currently (WBA #13 at super middle), but - come on. This is a more serious match, no?
