A hypothetical 90s roided up 235 pound Sonny Liston is terrifying to think about

Liston the Usurper is probably the most badass name ever.

The only "Top" heavyweight Liston could beat form the 90's might be Michael Moorer. But I wouldn't pick Liston to be any of them. Liston beat 180 pound Floyd Patterson. I know so many of you can't grasp the fact that 180 pounds isn't a heavyweight anymore. Also Liston intimidated who? Again little small guys. If you think Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, David Tua, Riddick Bowe, George Foreman ect would of been afraid of Liston then you are out of your mind. Leotis Martin knocked out Liston. Martin was a 195 or so pound guy. You will say but Liston was old. Well Foreman fought until he was pushing 50 and he wasn't getting knocked down or out. Each of these guys I named and various other top heavyweights from the 90's would of knocked Liston out.

I think Sonny Liston might have killed Evander Holyfield.

Lennox Lewis would stand no chance vs an old school bruiser like Liston. Who's Lewis' best win? An ancient, basically dead, 160lbs Evander Holyfield. He was KOed by a midget who was out-boxed by Anthony Nansen and KOed by a 105lb. mental patient who lost to Marcin Rekowski. Imagine what Litson would to someone like Lewis when a fat-as-**** stump who's about as dexterous as my Nan was 180lbs ****-wet-through can hold him to a controversial decision with nothing but a jab.

    I think Lennox beats him.

Tyson is close to a 50-50.

I would favour prime Sonny (1960) over the rest of them.

You mean how Sonny Liston killed 6'0 tall 196 pound Eddie Machen who went the distance with a "prime" Liston. I know Liston would kill Holyfield like he killed 190 pound Burt Whitehurst who went the distance with "prime" Liston twice? Wait I know Liston would kill Holyfield like he did Marty Marshall a 180 pound guy who went the distance with Liston twice and even beat him in their first fight?

Do you even watch boxing or do you repeat stuff you hear people like Bert Sugar say? Liston wasn't even good for his own weak era. Beating glass chin 180 pound Floyd Patterson doesn't make you great. Intimidating little 170- 180 pound guys doesn't make you scary. Unless you are a 170-180 pounds yourself.

Holyfield would beat the stuffing out of Liston.

and Holyfield got knocked out by a fat middleweight. Holyfield would engage Liston and get into a brawl,, he loses

Beats everyone but Lennox. Even then he’s got a shot. Oddly I think Moorer gives him a hard time till he probably gets kayoed

There are cruiserweights today that probably enter the ring as heavy as Tyson and Holyfield. By todays standards I guess they are not heavyweights.
