Pacquiao might need to get a savage beating to stop boxing

I swear that’s the feeling I’m getting with this one. Ali had just beat Leon Spinks to get his belts back and retired as the MAN in the HW division. He decides to come back two years later and face Larry Holmes who had been a destructive run since taking the WBC belt from Ken Norton. Larry Holmes proceeded to punish Ali and that’s how Im afraid Spence will do Pacquiao.

 

Spence will probably be the guy to make Pacquiao reconsider fighting, or at least fighting the top fighters. If he gets knocked out, he should announce his retirement on the spot and focus on his political career for good. If he somehow pulls it off, he should still retire on the spot and go out on a major high. Then maybe fewer guys will stay in a holding pattern hoping for a big payday from Manny.

 

They all say they will beat up Pacquiao until they get in there and who is on floor or running scurred? Look 2 years off will rejuvenate and get those ware and tare out of the body. I feel Spence is overrated and watch the Brook, Porter and Garcia fight. The boy can be clipped and outworked.

There is only 2 things that can beat Pac. Father time and Marquez. End of...

 

I don't think Pac is as far gone as Ali was. Ali should have never got in the ring with Holmes. Hope Pac does well and doesn't get destroyed in a one sided beat down.

 

People said the same thing when he fought Keith Thurman. Lol, i have a feeling it is Spence who is going to get a reality check on what it is actually like to face and deal with Pacquiao in the ring and that there are some serious levels in this game.

 

I personally want Pacquiao to beat Spence, Crawford, Khan, whatever is left. Even GGG and Canelo. He has to redeem himself spectacularly after failing against Floyd in 2020.

I get that you are here strictly to try and make people mad (for whatever your reasons are), but at least do it with some style.

 

Nobody said that before Keith Thurman as everyone was aware of how inactive he was and how much he had fallen off. I mean the guy was holding on to dear life to survive against Josesito Lopez. Let’s be real thats 100% the reason he was chosen as an opponent for Pacquiao.

 

i picked pac to beat thurman even before the josesito scare. always said he was overated skillwise. i feel spence is generally underated, as many think crawford beats him. spence has been the best ww for at least 5 years. and will remain so for at least another year, maybe 2.

 

Exactly I knew many that shared your same sentiment. After that Lopez fight it was a largely popular opinion that he was already damaged goods.

 

Whats sad is what Floyd is doing dumbass... Pacquiao just beat Keith Thurman and now hes challenging the best... Wait until he gets beat before running this line of bull****

 

Um, Thurman got caught and was badly hurt, but otherwise schooled Lopez 10-11 rounds in a tune-up.
