You've stated numerous times nobody here knows anything about boxing which makes me very confused as to why you've went through the effort to continuously make new accounts after each one is inevitably banned. Deontay Wilder is 6'6 210 to 220 when in shape. Rocky Marciano was 5'10 180 to 188. Deontay Wilder destroys Marciano worse than Mike Tyson destroyed Marvis Frazier.
Why were so many posters in this thread banned? Not a a huge Wilder fan but Lennox Lewis might literally kill Rocky if the ref doesn't stop it.
There are giants who are stiffs and Rocky could beat them and there are giants like Lewis and Klitschko who are fundamentally sound and he couldn't. Nightmare matchups. And since Lewis is a cautious fighter it's Rocky who has to take all the chances.
Marciano was the greater fighter. But head to head I don’t think he’d prevail against a destructive force like Wilder. Too much difference in size and power. And regardless of Wilder’s shortcomings, it can’t be denied that he had power, durability and heart.
Marciano isn't even the greater fighter. If you are just talking about skills wise Marciano was just as bad if not worse than Wilder. If you are talking about career accomplishments Marciano beat 4 known guys. A washed up Archie Moore, washed up Joe Louis, a washed up Ezzard Charles and washed up Jersey Joe Walcott. Wilder beat a old Luis Ortiz, no talent Dominic Breazeale, no talent Bermaine Stiverne , a old beat up Chris Arreola and other lower tier fighters. At least some of the fighters Wilder faced were still in their primes.
This is literally a 185lb cruiser with a 68in reach against a 220+ hw with an 83in reach, a decent jab when he remembers to use it, and one of the meanest right hands the sport has seen. And y'all are betting on the cruiser?

It s fine to favor Wilder due to his size, & you can also add that ROcky never faced the nemesis of a great swarmer, a great slugger. But you betray a lot of bias if you say that Marciano was not more skilled than Wilder. He had a lot of savvy to get inside, a cagey awkward style, hit high volume from every angle, Ali said it was hard to land on him... You can watch whole videos on his subtle skills. It is a cardinal mistake & usually indicative of someone who does not know that much about the sport to say he-or Foreman-did not have dignificant skills, that they were just bruisers. Likewise you could argue those big 4 opponents were past their prime, but it is absolutely untrue that they were "washe up". You can look at the record of each before they fought Marciano-even the one who had lost the most Louis had a great record, & not against pushovers. In sum, there is nothing wrong with reaching your conclusions. But you are not looking at the evidence, or at least not rationally, that justifies a good part of your conclusion.
