Wilder has rebuilt the image of himself as the Bronze Bomber in his head.

Everything that went wrong was a result of a massive conspiracy; Breland, the ref, the costume maker, the judges, Fury, the guy that checked the wraps ... everybody was in it. It's impossible for the invincible Bronze Bomber to lose by normal means.

Then, when Fury gets a hold of him in the pressers, and revs up his motormouth, and gets in his face, that image is going to start cracking up and falling to pieces. It will take just a few press outings for Wilder to start believing in the Gypsy Magic again, and for the old fear that he felt when Fury was bulling him around the ring, to resurface.

If Fury gets in Wilder's head it's game over and I think that he will.

Fury in 3/4. He has found the venom to Wilder's style and I don't think Deontay has the antidote. He's certainly dangerous and I think will throw better punches in the rematch for as long as he's upright (he was too heavy in the rematch), but I don't think he has the size, defense or movement to prevent Fury from pushing him backward and putting hands on him.

People are assuming that Wilder cannot land his bomb on the inside, i have seen him Ko inferior fighters trying to come to him. This time he will know what to expect from Fury and will be preparing for it. It will be crazy for him and his team not to have a game plan

I actually think this fight could end in DQ because wilder is delusional and surrounded by yes man and his delusional fans. So he will want to win by any means neccesary.

Any chance both these guys could go into the hall of fame if the third fight is super competitive, entertaining with a Wilder victory and strong public pressure for a fourth fight?

Its crazy how these guys have been stuck with each other. Emmanuel Steward in 2011 had predicted that these two will give each other the business in the Heavyweight division

Honestly? They shouldn't be anywhere near HOF on the back of this.

It's two guys with thin resumes (Fury's is better, but still nothing special) fighting out a third that the majority of fans didn't want to see - even if it's a classic (which seems unlikely), it's not likely to propel them significantly further.

There may be some public pressure for a fourth, given the lay of the land (on paper it would be evens, with almost all fans it would be 2-1 to Fury), but if Wilder wins the delusion train will go into overdrive and he'll claim he really won the first too. Doesn't matter that almost nobody agrees with him, that's never affected him in the past, he'll declare himself the 2-1 winner, better fighter and duck the fourth with Fury and go back to derisory defences against poor opponents.

I'd hope it ain't so, but I can't see him doing much else.

And honestly, it would be a travesty if Wilder won - not just in a sporting context (in that Fury has been clearly the better fighter so far, and by levels) but because that belt would be hostage again and undisputed would be completely off the table until Wilder retires.

Was Fury right all along? Is Wilder merely just a big useless dosser?

Perhaps, but at the end of the day is it really lucky for Fury not to be waived off if he proves he can get up during the 10 seconds?

It's not luck because Fury got up and almost finished wilder.

Yeah if a ref waves it off immediately but then the fighter clearly gets up in time or shows he fully recovered before a count of 10 then people will say it's controversial and the stoppage premature.

Ref clearly looked at Fury when he was down and could probably see in his eyes he was conscious and self aware and so didn't waive it off. Fact is the ref made the right call, especially at that point in the fight where all he had to do was get up a survive the round and would of won in most people eyes despite what the judges scored.

Fury will fight on the outside for 3 or 4 rounds, he’ll let Wilder throw big punches filled with frustration and anger at thin air while he winds Wilder up with “big dosser” comments. When he starts to see a reduction in Wilders aggression and energy, Fury will go back to fight 2 tactics and walk Wilder down by getting up close and denying him the room to throw anything dangerous.

Once that happens it’s curtains for Wilder around round 8 TKO

I hope he doesn't fight on the outside, because that's where Wilder is dangerous. Fury should immediately charge after him like he did in the 2nd fight and Wilder had nothing after 2 rounds.

You know what ? Only reason I don't want Wilder to win is him and his fanboys delusion.

Fury by lopsided UD, Wilder's people aren't gonna pull the plug even if he gets beat on. The ref would have to and I don't think Fury can detonate him enough to force it.

I'd love to see Fury stop him though, Wilder deserves to be humbled immensely *fingers crossed*
