    He was 36/37 I guess

May not be prime for everybody, but wasn't far off from Floyd's true prime, considering he's kind to his body and didn't fight 4 x times per year

I wonder if the usual suspects will be able to leave this thread alone?

Boxers mature at different rates, Tyson was already past his prime at 23.

Canelo is still improving, i dunno if he is now in his absolute prime or gonna be here in next year or two. Saying that he was in his prime 8 years ago is a lie. Simple as that. Saul always had shitty stamina, now he can manage his energy better, more precise, and better upper body movement, thats saves him from losing close rounds, when fighters like Lara and Trout were landing jabs on him from distance.

Anyway, I always wanted to see a volume/pressure fighter against Floyd, like Margarito. He had troubles with Maidana, but its the only relentless volume puncher that he ever fought, if i am not wrong...

Prime Floyd vs thickboi version of canelo would be an interesting fight.

Canelo destroys bigger guys by punching them on the arms now lol.

Caves in faces with a single shot.

I remember when people said that Floyd was one-dimensional, young, too small with too short a reach to make it to the top. That was forty years ago. I guess he proved everybody wrong.

I think Maidana under Garcia was better than Margarito though. He applied some skill while Margarito just relied on an iron chin

this is just floyd writing his own history. Canelo was still a work in progress and everyone knows it, but Floyd will tell his stories the way he wants them remembered.

    In Nevada or Texas.
I really wish to see him in countries like Germany, Russia, U.K, Switzerland, Japan to fight in these countries.
Most likely never and ever this will happen and for a reason. Every one with brains does knows this. They do not need any comment in internet for this one reality.

why? are his skills going to disappear in japan? will that german air reveal something we dont already know? do the fans and judges determine how good someone is able to fight?
