I've actually been wanting this for awhile.
Would be so epic. Time zones and all that mess wouldn't be much of a problem either. Why can't they make it happen?!

Imagine the GOAT fighting in his home country for his farewell fight, there would be bigger crowds outside than the most hardcore nations during the World Cup. I'd travel to the Philippines for that for sure

Yeah he deserves a final huge fight at home.

He has been an incredible figurehead for his country and had a great career.

taxaion issues, purse issues, time zone issues, etc. if a pacquiao fight in manila would be easy to make it would have already happened a long time ago but notice that neither pacquiao nor donaire have fought there in years there are plenty of good reasons for that.

I'd love to see that too. They need to start building the stadium now.

IF he fought there, there wouldnt even be a need to cycle as he does regularly.

Ali and Frazier had a money making fight in Manila if I recall correctly.

What taxation laws would apply to an event in another country?

Depends how far the stadium is from his house

He might choose to cycle there to stay fit

Yeah, this was in times when internet did not had existed.
Most powerful and impactful mass media then was : TV and press: journals, newspapers.
Ali and Frazier were very well known and popular, don most likely get damn huge sums for rights to broadcast this fight from TV business.

Pac's last fight better be with The Magic Man Paulie Malignaggi who Pac has been ducking for over ten years.
After Paulie beat the crap out of Sechenko, Pac has been hiding since.
