Shane was shot to all Holy Hell by 2012-2014. Maidana mugs him to a decision at that point. Prime-for-prime, it's a gross mismatch. A young Shane would beat Maidana within an inch of his life.
Exactly how I see it, prime Mosely stomps him, but in that exact era, he doesn't have enough left in the tank to handle what Maidana's going to serve.
Yeah agree with the above. In this timeframe Maidana mauls a diminished Shane, but the best welterweight version of Mosley dominates him, probably getting a stoppage. It would look like the Margarito fight, but even more one-sided.
