Little leprechaun's son 126 pounder Loma's punches were hurting him when Loma started letting his hands go even though he's way naturally bigger than him, Rougarou is a big 140 pounder and a very big puncher at that weight.
Lol, ramirez is another one overrated as F in this forum. I dont give a F about ramirez or prograis. Zero ****s. And they are overrated only because postol and indongo are overrated as **** too. I dont like any single one of them in the ring. Complete mediocrity.
Large and seriously powerful pro 140 lbs division boxers just will push Loma or Nakatani back and continue to box here not do stuff like Lopez did with them. They are too large for dudes like Loma and Campbell, Linares even in their prime shape. These boxers are just too large for them.
Lopez said before he beat Loma "I'm not gonna let a little 126 pounder come in and takeover". And everybody was like look at this idiot, Loma will thrash him. And then after the fight everybody changed tune and says Loma was too small. Guys, Lopez told y'all he was too small and weak. Not big enough for him. Y'all clowned him for saying Loma was too little.
I called it wrong, among other things I was going off the Nakatani fight et cetera like most people were.. i underestimated him & didn't look too deeply into Lopez' natural size either .. in retrospect i probably should have as it is apparent that he is massive for the weight, considering an in shape Lopez recently weighed in at 156lbs. That's basically the size of a young Canelo almost. He's still young enough to make the weight but in ring it was noticeable the size disparity. This will bear out over the next couple of years as Lopez will undoubtedly makes waves at 140/46 .. whereas Loma is generally considered a SFW which means in time that loss won't actually look that bad when you factor in his injury & inactivity too. Good luck to Lopez, he proved me wrong but if he himself was openly admitting Loma is too small for him then not only is he basically pulling apart his own win he's also affirming everything I just wrote.
Prograis was neck an neck with Taylor when they fought, an he has proved what a fighter he is in that one fight alone, plus he is a cool as **** geezer. I’m a fan an thinks he handles Lopez
Loma has lost a step blatantly, even before Lopez, regardless of size advantages they have on him, it was evident already wasn’t it. I feel the same with Usyk. I think without moving up, if you could throw the Usyk that fought Gassiev in with Chisora, maybe only 210/15 fight night he would’ve tko Del Boy or gave him a horrible beating. It’s not the size as much, he’s simply past his prime imo that’s the problem
Teo will do what taylor couldn't that is take him out take over style. Prograis is all right i guess but i think he is tailor made for TLO.
Usyk? Yeah. Still smart choice to move up. If he had for example Dorticos or Briedis in the ring instead of Chisora in this day, he had lost via stoppage. Chisora, while is legit and powerful HW boxer, sadly does not have good gas tank and is predictable. Yeah, prime Usyk had stopped Chisora for sure and probably even old Briedis or Dorticos from their 2020 autumn fight too had stopped Chisora. Yeah, Dorticos is a bit limited, still polished and tough material, moves like 200 lber, in the ring probably at least 205 lbs and hits like boxer who does have 220 lbs weight at weight ins plus damn considerably better gas tank than Chisora. Chisora could put Usyk in trouble for 4 rounds, then declined during 2 rounds and last 6 rounds Usyk had opponent with not good gas tank in the ring. While Dorticos in 10 th round might still be not less active than Chisora was in 4 th round. Output ( punches he is able to throw for 1 round ) too had been higher than from Chisora, leg work more fast and so on + different style.
Yeah and it's not a coincidence both have also become very injury prone in their early thirties either. When Usyk put his shots together and unloaded on Chisora he hurt him and he should've done that more
Man, I like Rooogarooo!! Dude is fun to watch and interviews well the occasions I've seen him. He's easy to root for. That said, if he finished the fight on his feet (and he might. seems old school tough to me), he'd be a mess. However much I think Lopez is being a **** vis a vis Lomachenko and other possible opponents, his speed and power and skill give him actual potential to be an ATG. I don't think that about Prograis, so sorry.
If his power had been tasted vs Linares, Campbell etc like boxers at 135 lbs. Yeah, he won Loma in close fight ( sorry Lopez fans, this is hype train to claim that he did this easily and makes a lot of fun for free to read up these claims ) and sorry, Loma physically is not even close to Nakatani, not alone for Linares and Campbell at 135 lbs. Not to talk here about 140 lbs boxers. Yeah, he is very smart, talented and maybe even really nice lad, just does have rude dad. Boxers are difficult game.
I think people forget about that fight. He gave as good as he got. How can you not rank Prograis high if you rank Josh?
