Wilder within 3 and a brutal ko.

Ruddock and that woeful punch output will not put enough pressure on Wilder to create enough openings.
a better set of legs and not telegraphing that left hook would help a bunch. But Razor always dips to throw. Then he drops that left to his waist to throw. And only then does it become a wide and long punch.

The other factor coming into play is I like Ruddock when he holds the physical size advantages against the opponent. So they come to him so he does not have to work hard to be in range. With the long reach of Wilder, I think the defensive flaws of Ruddock get magnified and he gets beat to the punch while trying to launch his left. And getting tagged clean by a Wilder right hand while he is loading up happens early and ends the bout.

Hopefully Ruddock comes to his senses instead of getting them scrambled. Even a diminished Wilder or any other top 20-30 heavyweight could

Are you seriously this dishonest to even bring this fight up?

That was his 11th fight. He improved since then and destroyed another 6'6 guy named Eddie Richardson and went to war with pre-prison MIke Tyson. He would get to Wilder before Wilder would get to him

I'd fancy Ruddock over Wilder simply because Wilder is there to be hit if you've got a mind to. Of course, Deontay has a healthy chance due to his right hand. 60-40 kind of fight I think.

Ruddock was WIDE OPEN for right crosses and straight rights...............Tyson sent him to the canvas with rights...........Lewis scrambled him with the right.............guess whats Wilder best punch is...............and Ruddock did not like to crowd a fighter , he needed / prefered space to load up...........it is a guarantee that Wilder WILL land his right and no matter how good your chin or recuperative powers are you aint taking too many of those flush and flush Wilder will land.

What are you talking about, Ruddock was agressive with his jab against taller fighters

Ruddock was vulnerable to right hands but wilder isn’t a defensive wizard himself. Who ever lands first honestly. I might go with wilder in that case because of his height and reach advantage

Both are pretty lazy fighters with very little out-put most of the time just cruising for a chance to throw the big punch content to do as little as they can get away with. I think Wilder would take Ruddock out at one point.

You write this like you couldn't just switch the names and say "left hand."

I've not got too hard an opinion on this. Certainly there's an argument for Wilder.
