Floyd admitted himself that he's a modern day bank robber.

Why do you care how much money a boxer makes?

    Especially in an exhibition fight?

Ages weren't arbitrary. Your body isn't the same at 36 as it is at 26.

Being WAY better than everyone, to the point that you can be past prime and still better than your opponents, doesn't mean you're in your prime.

Fighters peak and decline at different ages. It depends on the fighter. It depends how much punishment a fighter takes in the ring, how dedicated a fighter is in the gym, a fighter's lifestyle, etc. Some fighters are past their prime by their late 20s, other fighters peak in their 30's. Mayweather always stayed in tip top shape so he never had a major drop off in performance. Lets use Hopkins as an example. He was at his peak at 36 years old vs Trinidad. When he was in his 20s he was not in his prime, he was not at his peak yet. With Hopkins, his body wasn't the same at 36 than it was at 26, it was better at 36. And it took Hopkins until he hit his mid 30s to develop fully as a fighter both mentally and physically. So Hopkins destroys the idea that you can't be prime or peak at 36. He was.

So being in your prime is a combination of physical + mental. Some fighters it takes them longer to develop and reach their physical or mental peak than others. I would ask you with Mayweather, when did his prime end? When exactly in your mind did Mayweather's prime end? If you can't pinpoint the end of Mayweather's prime, then you'll understand why he was not considered past his prime when he fought Canelo and wasn't really ever seen as past his prime until he retired.

You're delusional. Pbf will always own Canelo in the ring and canelo and his brother have a reminder of it with that tattoo he got of the fight date. :deal:

Things such as experience , how much gear you're on & weight etc are key tho aren't they.. Canelo at that stage couldn't even KO the Mathew Hattons , 40 yr old Ndous or shot Shane Mosleys.. yet he's walking through LHWs & SMWs today .. that alone demonstrates the difference between today's Canelo and the younger version .. his best opponents then were Trout & a 42 year old Mosley who by that stage was fighting once a year near enough & was coming off 3 losses.. Alvarez is PEAK right now.. I don't consider him peak in 2013, although he was an excellent fighter even then. Floyd was a master of timing both in and out of the ring. If they'd have fought when Canelo had fully grown into his extensive doping regime, body and man strength I suspect it would have been a closer fight. Juicenelo of GGG fights would probably kill Floyd at 160 I know that.. 152 not so much.. Anyway, they probably made a pact about that fight, take the loss ginger lad and I'll tell you my magic potions LOL..

The result bugs Pimp more than me because I agree with the judges. I had Floyd winning a close fight. Pimp on the other hand thinks Floyd won much wider than the judges had it and said the judges were corrupt giving Canelo a draw and two other close scores. So in reality, Pimp is more bothered by the verdict of the match than me.

The loss was the best thing to happen to Canelo. I doubt he would be the fighter that he is today if he didn't take that loss to Floyd. But you're delusonal in your super Floyd fandom. You say it was an easy win for Floyd you know it wasn't. But you say Floyd was faded and that a faded Floyd beat a Prime Canelo who was drained and 8 before his Peak lol. You said the judges were corrupt and Floyd really beat Canelo easily and based on that you conclude that any version of Floyd would beat any versoin of Canelo. That's delusional Pimp. Remove yourself from ya man Floyd's nuts. He beat Canelo in a close fight but he relly struggled at times and Canelo were tagging him on the inside. Floyd won by out jabbing Canelo, and doin a lot of evading moves pulling back real fast with his upper body but he was still getting hit. it was a very prime-like performance by Floyd he was P4P #1 and top of his game. Canelo wasn't even in the P4P Top 10 and you say Canelo was in is Prime. Get real Pimp. Today's Canelo would destroy any verson of Floyd but you can't accept that becuse you're too big of a Floyd fan. It's OK I'm here to help.
