Thanks. Best left hook and combination puncher in the division for many years IMO and he had an excellent chin in his prime and, as said, he was a certified warrior with a huge heart. Me too. But I think he would've been set for life financially long before he fought AJ as his promoter Andrey Ryabinsky is a billionaire and I suspect he would've looked after him well. I think Povetkin fought on for so long because he just loved to fight Kalle on Povetkin having a bare knuckle scrap with a MMA fighter in the gym just 3 or 4 weeks after he fought Wlad Snippet here This content is protected https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aH...EwjkuObtx_XrAhUGWsAKHczVDv4QieUEegQICxAF&ep=6
No, I literally just said it probably meant more to him than us. That WBA belt was not valued at all by boxing fans.
Well, someone gets cached, someone no. Especially suspicious for me are pro boxers who does fight only in their home country or perorms like a bums in they fight aboard, there had been cool examples what means testing in another country here without positive tests, that the boxer is far worse than in his home country. Povetkin looks that did not had so big effect from peds. In amateurs he had competed in a lot of different countries and had good stoppage percentage for pro, not alone for am fighter. Later? In pros he was like with usually approx the same weight, 222-224-225-228lbs and actually did not looked more devastating than in some his amateur fights. Maybe a bit some stuf might had helped him but he even did not looked so juiced like bunch with roid fields and clenelos here.
Well, first oldest belt actual also today looks that was The Ring belt and then WBA and WBC were valued also in Foreman vs Frazier era, Frazier had The Ring, WBA and WBC belts when he had 1 st fight vs Foreman. Povetkin vs Huck for example had been advertised by some ppl like this: undefeated professional HW boxer, Olympic Gold medalist vs Huck, buy tickets.
Pov had good, decent paychecks, especially after fight vs Huck and even more after fight vs Wlad. Plus 0 bad habits, this makes a lot of sense here. For sure. Yeah, I think Huck for example too was like these fighters, he continued to risk when already was rich and does not looks that he was in need for any fast cash.
So you're condoning him being caught on two occasions for doping because you don't believe it benefited him?
Yeah and looks that this is due to more available training. In Thailand MT is old thing, while in europe boxing is old thing if compare with KB, MT, karate etc. Lads who had switched from KB to pro boxing in europe usually had competed in am boxing and am KB or MT or even both of them. While Thailand does have widely available training in MT and relatively recently popular am/ pro boxing. There are good Thai guys in am boxing now too, of course.
You are playing with words with deep and smart intent here. 37 y.o and older pov was less effective than 18 y.o am pov, get this, gentlemans who had watched both of these versions does have clue what I'm talking about and for lads like you it will be like to talk with a wall here. I might ask you why some notable boxers did not had fought on foreign soil and do not dream here, I do know why. Not only about cards here is talk. This is what this is here and there. LOL.
Nope, he is more clean than clenelo, at least he had balls to fight in different countries unlike clenelo.
Povetkin is a beast. Glad he's getting respect on here since I spent my whole time on this forum repping him to what seemed like deaf ears.
Good, i always wondered why a guy like that keeps fighting... there is no reason for him to keep going unless he is broke(which i highly doubt) and he can easily turn around and become a top boxing trainer in russia.
