Bob Arum: Eddie Hearn got greedy, screwed everything up.

I take Eddie Hearn over Old Senile Arum everyday say what you want about Hearn but at least he doesnt sabotage his fighters careers the way Arum does with some of his fighters.

 

Bob really had some nerve the way he and Floyd marinated the MayPac fight. To be honest Bob wasn’t interested in sharing the pot until he exhausted all the near or above 1 Million PPV buys Manny was generating in fights within Top Rank opponents.

But the many announcements for the potential announcement of the fight was getting annoying. “We should have the paperwork signed next week” every week was getting old fast.

 

He must be looking in the mirror.

 

How can you believe a guy that lied yesterday but swears he’s telling the truth today? We’ll probably never find out the truth but it certainly won’t come from Arum.

 

This bloke screams in pain as he attacks you.

 

Even Tysons dad is blaming Bob.

It's also funny, how in the same thread of posts on twitter you forget to post the one of Tyson praising Eddie Hearn.

 

Even Al Haymon and the bomb squad have more credibility than Arum.

 

Eddie will just get pissed off now and spill the lot

 

And that's been my point, look how you describe Arum.. "old senile" and let's not forget he loves weed.

Eddie himself has mentioned Arums age, weed use and his "ways".

Yet Eddie apparently believed every word he said without looking at anything, just accepted and went ahead with securing sites fees, said he was announcing it every other days for months.

Eddie will also tell anybody who listens that what sets him apart as a promoter is his attention to details, that he leaves no stone unturned, he goes through every line of a contract with his fighters, THE OPEN BOOK POLICY.

Yet, I'll say again, Hearn just believed an "old senile pothead" and then claimed all the credit saying nobody else is doing anything and when it all goes sideways, Eddie blames everybody but himself.

 

Why are people getting emotional about some promoter ? Are you guys getting paid to defend him or something ? It's embarassing to say that you love some greedy promoter. Especially if you are above the age of 18

Hearn is no good for boxing.

Old Arum provide us two undisputed fight in less that 9 months. They are not comparable.

Hearn is no good for boxing? Hearn puts on the best cards in the sport. Boxing is so far away from UFC now and Hearn might be the closest to putting on cards that have anything like what the UFC puts on. Not these one fight shows.

 

Once Eddie knew he was moving Matchroom from Sky to DAZN, I highly doubt the AJ vs Fury fight would happen prior to this taking place. AJ has one fight left with Sky and Hearn had no incentive to make a fight of such magnitude feature on a platform he was leaving. He'll want that to be a DAZN co-event if at all possible.

For that reason I suspect Fury vs Joshua this summer was always a non-starter...

 

I think they can both take some blame. Like Arum said. He’s viewing this in “retrospect”, and saying if they had gotten the fight agreed with sooner it was more likely the arbitrator would have allowed it to go on. Of course Arum is going to lay blame on someone else, he’s that kind of guy. Hearn probably too.
