However, upon hearing this news of Teofimo Lopez having symptomatic coronavirus, and his fight with Kambosos only being postponed two months, from 19 June to 14 August, I cannot help but compare this situation to that of Alexander Povetkin. He came down with symptomatic coronavirus in November, forcing postponement of the scheduled December Whyte rematch to 30 January, but in December he was still struggling to recover, and so the fight was postponed again, ultimately occurring on 27 March. We all know how obviously significantly compromised Povetkin was for that fight. I would be very surprised if Lopez/Kambosos happens on 14 August.
