    Is Ponce even the real mando, at first the IBF said they was doing a tournament to decide the Mando. So it should be Subriel Matias vs Jeremias Ponce next as a final eliminator? Unless they went back on that.

    Not sure but subriel would beat up ponce imo.ergashev should be in the mix as well.think he was high in the IBF.just had a look and the no1 spot is vacant..ergashev,ponce,matias,paro in and around so hopefully get some quality fights.

    If you can't see the difference in quality between Taylor and Ponce you're a lost soul of boxing. Imagine what Taylor would have done to Ritson. And that's not a tringle theory observation it's being able to see the difference between a solid fringe world level fighter and an undisputed champion. Levels...

    Good fight but Ponce (who I'm a fan of after Saturday's showing) quite often uses his face to block punches, Josh would tee off on him en route to a wide decision or late stoppage, Ponce would go out on his shield though

    What's your evidence Taylor is vulnerable to body shots ??

    Probably why Crawford is not a good idea for Taylor, but Taylor would school Ponce, he dealt with Barancyk fairly comfortably, and although Ivan might have less workrate, he hits a LOT harder I'd say.

    I agree mate, I quite like Matias. He's fastly becoming one of my favourites to watch, I love his aggressive style.

    Aye he is solid isn't he I mind watching the fight he had immediately after the tragic dadashev one and thought he might've lost his mojo.Matias v ergashev would be tremendous.

    Taylor is hardly Roberto Duran, he has fought nobody of any real note, Ponce could easily beat him.
