Fair post but post but the Canelo age thing is being over blown. Some people act like he was 19 or 20 with 15 fights he wasn't, he had experience at the world level and was the champ of the division with over 40 fights, who said "I was born ready". At the point in their careers he couldn't have caught PBF at a better time. PBF was seen as old and past his best on his way out and Canelo was seen as the future of the sport. Sure they're are some exceptions to this but 9 out of 10 times you will always take the 23 year old fighter to beat the 36 year old fighter because the 36 year old fighter is past his prime and faded and the 23 year old is prime or closer to his, that's all I'm saying here.

it was a good win for floyd. it happened like its suppose to when an atg fights an up and coming 23yo. canelos only chance was to catch him and ko him, he was never going to outbox him. canelo learned a lot from that loss, lit a fire under his ass too. he realized there were still levels to conquer.

you have to earn your fight against the king, and asking him after beating kermit cintron is not how you do it.
lost half of his fights at the business end of his career and got banned for cheating.
if i DIDN'T want to fight floyd, those last two points is exactly how i'd achieve that.

But he didn't want to fight a king.

He just wanted to fight an overrated low-life.

then he shouldn't have lost half his fights at the pointy end of his career, and got banned for cheating, should he?

Clenelo is in his physical prime RIGHT NOW — 8 years after the Floyd fight and at super middleweight.

Neither Mayweather or Margarito deserve to be called a king.

Hey now... You would argue and probably have argued that Pac was fine for the Floyd fight because he didn't mention in camp that he was injured...

i'm not defending floyd as a person, but as a fighter, who else did you want him to fight apart from maybe paul williams at WW?
he was a king, untouchable as a master boxer.

He was also old for that fight. Age is a number.

Do you not see the irony here? That's precisely what you're doing here that I'm calling you out on, you believing all of what Floyd has said when he said "When Canelo fought me, he was in his prime, I was an old man. I wasn't in my prime".

So I would say the same thing back to you, what a special little world you live in to believe that Floyd was an old man at 36 and that Canelo was in his prime when they fought. Floyd at 36 was the clear #1 P4P fighter in the sport. There's nothing "old man" about being P4P #1.

So it's a matter of choosing which one of Floyd's statement to believe more, either what Floyd said immediately after the Canelo match about how he still felt young and how he still had bounce and spring in his legs because he didn't take abuse in the sport or what he said 8 years later in retrospect about how he was an old man back then. What would you trust better, someone remembering how they felt 8 years earlier or someone telling you how they felt at the time right after it happened?

Floyd 8 years later is saying the complete opposite of what he said right after the fight about how he still had young legs, so it's a question of which statement of Floyd you believe, what he said in 2021 about how he was an old man 8 years ago or what he said right after the fight when he said he still felt young.

Bro I completely destroyed your arguments lol. You read it, but you have nothing to come back with after realizing how wrong you were. If that's your idea of setting a trap then I would hate to think of what you falling into a trap would be lol.

"Didn't read" your witty new catchphrase. You just keep taking L's, and "didn't read" is your way of checking out. Your comments provided a great opportunity for me to show how the translator didn't quote Canelo word for word and the translator's paraphase is quite different than what Canelo actually said. This has been a reoccurring problem throughout Canelo's career. Remember "Mexican Don't **** around" lol. Canelo has a history of having his español taken through a filter and paraphrased in the translator's own words, so you provided the perfect example to show the difference between what you throught he said by relying on the translator vs what Canelo really said which was quite different. And, on top of all that, you conveniently ignored the first part of the translation which was "No, not at all, not at all".

This is why I am fine with your "didn't read" gimmick after you get schooled. It's your way of saying "you're right shadow".

Obviously haven't read what I've said. Don't lump me with generalities that don't apply.
