What's there to do at 154? It's a dead division. Facing mini charlo is worth peanuts for legacy.

A win against Thurman, Ennis, potentially Benn a few years from now and a Crawford win are all worth far more.

But at 31 if he wants to make a move up weight, maybe even another move to 160 at some point then in his mind what's the point of staying around and going over old ground?

 

154 is currently a lousy division.
He's better off with a trilogy against Crawford.

Or fight Thurman already.
Or beat Pac convincingly at least once (not gonna happen on the first fight LOL)
