I like underdog stories. Seeing Wilder knock out fury would be the greatest mic drop the sport would ever see. Yeah, it's unlikely, but it would be pretty hilarious. Now having said that, if fury smashes wilder to bits, then yeah, wilder will likely ride off into the sunset/psych ward.
Tbh wilder seems to be ruined already. He needs to pray to the boxing gods that he repeatedly lands his right hand “Bomb Squad” style. or he is Foooked!
Wilder has that unpredictable factor and style that one can not dismiss. Again, I think he acted like a real “B” at the press conference but you can’t over look his power. I will say he actually boxed around Ortiz in one of the two fights for a few minutes so he can box just not for long. If Fury blows up to 300 and goes for the bulldozer approach this will be very interesting indeed. I still feel Tyson has all of the advantages
I agree - it would be hilarious I think whichever of them loses is likely to be riding off into the psychiatric ward though! Can you imagine Fury's response?
Wilder Is almost at the end of the line. With the knockout of Breazeale Wilder has gained most of his fans in this forum, with the knockout inflicted by Fury he has lost almost all of them. it will be very unlikely that in the third fight he will win them back.
Wilder is already ruined. A recovering Fury beat a prime Wilder in Fight One whatever the corrupt judges say. A strong Fury annihilated Wilder in Fight Two. This third fight is an utterly pointless affair and affront to boxing. Fury in 1 Round wouldn't surprise me, Wilder is just here for the pay cheque his lawyers won him.
Genuinely... Who believes he dares get in the ring with ANY of them at this point? (Even pre III) TBH, I just don't think he's got the bottle, regardless of the result it'll either be back to bums or retirement... In that sense, he's always been ruined and probably always will be - at the same time, you could argue that he's not ruined as he's never been anything but ruined.
Respectfully, he'll go back to claiming he won the first and as a result say he's already won 2-1. I can't see any world in which Wilder dares get back in there if he wins.
He's always been a mirage, with one of the most padded records ever. I would not say ruined, only because he was never any good to begin with.
Why do you guys root to see men's lives and careers ruined? Isn't just watching them fight enough for you?
People are talking about Wilder's state of mind but are overlooking serial manic depressive Tyson Fury This is a also guy who is a few screwdrivers short of a toolkit himself.... What if he isnt motivated for this fight? What if all his mental resources and motivation went into the Joshua fight in Saudi Arabia and that huge $80,000,000 pay day....?
