Who here is wanting wilder to win? I know if he loses its bad for boxing because it takes the excitement of the heavyweight division away, as there will be nobody to crush someone's head in like an avacado. What happens after fukkin fury beats wilder? Deontay fades off into Bolivian and then we get a stagnate division. Why? Because then it's a showdown between two guys who have nothing left to prove after that fight as in fury- Joshua. Why? Because all they're left with is some mandatories then they're out the game. I heard fury's father contemplating on that his sons legs aren't as fresh as they used to be. On the other hand I heard Joshua was talking about making the transition to WWE. Myaswell eh? He's a body builder anyway.

I look at Deontay s career kinda like Oscars. Both were predestined for flawless careers, THEN the losses started creeping in. No more perfection.

The hype trains derailed! For Oscar and Deontay. De la Hoya succumbed to his demons wearing drag and shet. Will Deontay be derailed too if he loses?

He reminds me of an inmate doing self isolation. When they meet with the warden and team you can see the struggle in their demeanor like they know they don't have the upper hand yet they talk about how much good they want to do. Inside they are wretched from the beatdown, just like Deontay is, he is trying to believe his own words.

The world still needs big knockouts and an American hw champ. It's just that, Deontay is going up against his proofull most difficult challenge yet. He is effed.

As it stands, there's not much to miss. He has avoided fighting the top boxers until a cherry pick gone wrong against Fury in 2018, which has then entangled him in the ironic mess he's currently in. It has been a perfect opportunity for him to build his stock, but it has backfired. The silver lining will no doubt be the money.

Even if he loses against Fury again, I'd still love to see him in against Joshua, Usyk, Whyte, Joyce etc. There's a lot of entertaining bouts he could be involved in, but realistically speaking he will likely never allow that to happen.

Makes me think he's focused. Beating Fury will take every ounce of commitment he has so it's good to see he's not creating a circus again. Should be a much better fight than fight 2. I expect fury to win but hopefully Wilder can give us a memorable fight

Now all these fights, what would be the factor for them not happening? Risk? Reward? Injury? Age? Etc.

Why do you guys think even if he loses to Fury second time he needs to retire ?

He could fight other guys and beat them and prove that he can still KO people.

You forgot that this is HW and his age is not 40. he has some years left in him and his power is still with him.

NOW if Fury loses, than he may retire and get back to his old self and people will hate him, just like they did before he beat Wilder.

Good point man, the best age for a hw is 30 said Jameel mccline or Kirk Johnson on fnf's in-studio interview

They just don't want him around period. Furys resume is only better because of the presence of Wlad and ducked his rematch by retiring yet they have no problem watching him beat guys like Otto Wallin

To rearticulate that point, it was the show of the best young heavies out there, but they forgot to include Byrd as they alluded too was the 3rd best young hw.

This isn’t your everyday stupid, this is some Dubblechin level nonsense.

Why, may I ask, was Wilder “predestined” for a flawless career when he did not possess basic boxing fundamentals?

Deontay Wilder was grown in a lab to make boxing pundits look stupid. He is a min-max fight night character who put all his experience points into the straight right. His style is drowning in red flags but because he hits so god damn hard it didn’t matter until Fury cracked the code.

That is not a formula for a “Flawless” anything.

Only Wilder knows how much money is enough. Even if he loses to Fury again he can still fight until he hits that number and will most likely do so.

yeah, I don't really understand why. It seems people are actually hate him. like real hate, not just antipathy.

I don't really know what is good for boxing when those two are fighting.
