I’m not a Wilder “fan” nor do I want him to beat Fury (who I think will stop Wilder in 6) but I do think that he is good for boxing and hope that he doesn’t retire.

However, I think that if Fury beats him we won’t see him again.

It was this quote that made me believe in him, I'm paraphrasing here but,... He said he watched fury get knocked out with his two own eyes in the last knockdown of the first fight.

People react to situations differently across the board. Since this is his claim to what he witnessed (a merely long count) then he had all the brains in the world to pick on troubled Tyson. On the other hand, long count or not, the plan was playing out like butter playing toast, but Tyson fury got up like the grim reaper or some shet.

Think about it, a cherry pick went wrong, must have hurt his pride, 2nd one loss? Made him lose his marbles or quote any type of an excuse any under the sun.

The blokes here are mildly saying that deontay needs the concentration of a zen Buddhist to win this fight. Me? I'm simply in the minority that fury got a long count.

lol...thinks him leaving "takes the excitement away" from the heavyweight division.

Newsflash: knocking over a series of handpicked bums and paid divers, then claiming it is somehow impressive, doesn't really cut it for me.

Deontay Wilder is a thoroughly dislikabe person who has all the technical ability of a short sighted 12 year old amateur with an inner ear imbalance and two left feet.

Let's hope Fury rearranges his face (though only superficially, no long term damage wanted) and Wilder disappears forever, head hung in embarrassment and shame.

The world doesn't need an American heavyweight champion.

The world doesn't care who is champion, just as long as they deserve it.

People don't want him around because he says ridiculous, immature stuff about wanting to kill his opponents and laugh because it's "legal", because he is deluded and arrogant, clueless and ignorant, is an awful technician, relies on one trick, fought nobody of consequence all through his tenure as WBC champion, was always mouthing off to AJ, or dismissing Whyte, and 6 years later still hasn't fought either of them and likely never will, knocks over bums and nobodies, and is generally a tiresome little man who brings nothing positive to the sport.

Will they do as a few reasons?

It's easy to hate him, harder to love him. Can you imagine the sacrifices he made for his daughter born with spinal bifida? He literally took up boxing so that she would have all her needs met.

Remind you of a man named Mike Tyson? He too could be a scumbag, but when you look past the swearing and violence and gansterism deep down there is a good human being. It's part of man's struggle, to be conflicted lol.

It's like rap music, you gotta get thru the profanity to find a positive reason. These men exemplify bundles of followers trying to fill in they're footsteps, heck they must be doing something good?

If it's better or for worse: it's influential. MAYBE I'm wrong but they should have more of a moral code but this isn't golf this is boxing.

It's 'fing childish. Part of being a professional is promoting it. Fury is doing his part.

    Im rooting for him.

Only reason a Fury win is tolerable is the slim chance it could lead to an AJ fight.

And by "deserve it", we mean "doesn't duck everyone they consider a serious threat".

Wilder fanboi-ism is practically Stockholm syndrome given his record of holding that belt hostage.

Did you mean oblivion or do you think Deontay will become a citizen of the South American country of Bolivia?

Just messing with you. I know what you meant.

I missed him when he disappeared for the best part of a year after Fury turned him into a recluse but to be fair to him he did leave us with that unintentionally hilarious and insanely cringeworthy parting gift ''I am a king, I am strong, I will rise again'' video he made for his deranged cult fanbase on YT before he went into hiding and that footage of his losing effort at the World Twerking Championships in June 2020 was a real godsend too.

I would've liked to see him man-up and face the music from Father Fury and the press for the litany of wretched excuses, fantastical conspiracy theories, and the malicious accusations he leveled at Fury, his own trainer, the NSAC and numerous respected members of the boxing fraternity but alas he couldn't summon the courage to do so, instead opting to cower behind his new trainer and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones before initiating the longest stare down in sporting history only to walkaway with a loss from that too lol

Artistically it reminds me of Tupac: "the rose that grew from concrete" despite all the obstacles he managed to grow from a crack in the ground and bloomed into a beautiful rose, the beauty of turning nothing into something. Lol and

Tiger Woods. People loved him as good tiger not bad tiger.
