our top 5 is very similiar and its a coinflip between Benny Leonard and Ezzard Charles ,Ezzard beat more hall of famers 8 to Bennys 7 but Benny doubled his wins, both guys didnt dodge anyone (benny fought the deepest his division had to offer) and Ezzard bullied the black murderers row(other guys of that era ducked him) but What swung it for Benny for me ,was Leonard stopped in his prime, He probably beats Sammy Mandell, Sid Terris , Mclarnin etc and that would have bumped him up to 3rd over Sugar Ray ,Also Benny stopped guys who were rarely stopped at their peak or never stopped , Like willie ritchie , Freddie welsh , Johnny Kilbane , Rocky Kansas. all Good top 6!

Ezzard Charles Harry Greb simply has the best resume of all time, beating the likes of Mickey Walker, Maxie Rosenbloom,Gene Tunney, Tommy Gibbons, Mike Gibbons, Tommy Loughran, Jack Dillon, Kid Norfolk, Mike O' Dowd and others, a good amount of them multiple times and with many physical disadvantages. He was active like no other, he had 298 fights in a span of 13 years, whereas Langford had 313 ( only 15 more ) fights in almost twice the time span, and he still ended up with only 18 losses, some of them undeservingly, showing just how incredibly consistent he was. Sam Langford has the best resume aside from Greb and by far the best P4P accomplishments. He beat Joe Gans when he was just a teen, an insane accomplishment, even if Gans was not in his absolute best condition during the fight, having fought the day prior. He also should have gotten the nod against Barbados Joe Walcott. He KO'd Heavyweight greats Harry Wills, Sam McVey and beat Joe Jeannette by decision multiple times despite starting out at around Lightweight. He beat Tiger Flowers when he was almost blind and fought until he was 43 years old. Even if Greb and Langford are probably greater when you study them in depth, Sugar Ray Robinson is the consensus GOAT for good reason. He beat Jake Lamotta 5 times, Kid Gavilan twice, Fritzie Zivic twice, Bobo Olson 4 times, Tommy Bell twice, Sammy Angott 3 times, Gene Fullmer and Carmen Basilio, and he would have gotten the win against Maxim had it not been for a heat stroke. He also beat about half of them during a 91 fight winning streak, not losing once. Henry Armstrong had quite possibly the most dominant peak run out of all of them. Beating Barney Ross, Lou Ambers, Caferino Garcia, Baby Arizmendi, Chalky Wright almost back to back. he beat Petey Sarron for the world Featherweight title, and not even a full year late he beat a top 20 ATG in Barney ross gaining the Welterweight title, and then almost 3 months later moved down to Lightweight to beat Ambers for the crown, thus becoming a 3 division champion simultaneously, then moved back to 147 and had 19 consecutive Welterweight defenses right after. Ezzard Charles's resume is insane and underappreciated by many . Beating Teddy Yarosz at just 20 years old and then coming to a draw with Ken Overlin not much later. He beat Charley Burley twice back to back, Joey Maxim 5 times, Archie Moore 3 times, Jimmy Bivins 4 times, Lloyd Marshall, Jersey Joe Walcott twice, Rex Layne, Elmer Ray (and he should have won in the first fight), and older Joe Louis, and made Marciano give everything he had when he was well past it. Even if he only won a championship at Heavyweight, his weight climbing accomplishments, with so many great fighters from Middleweight to Heavyweight, are undeniably spectacular
