Not sure how old you were, but I lived through both Flair and Savage's brilliant primes. While Savage's storylines and run in the WWE, was clearly more mainstream and iconic. On a near weekly basis lair performed at the top of his game more consistently for far longer. Also, has matches were better and more brutal, ring psychology better, promos better, persona better, and managed to drag that prime out, well beyond that of most fighters. Savage was like the big action movie star that had a short but brilliant run at the top, like Arnold, whereas Flair was like the slow and steady Harrison Ford, who performed at the top of his game for decades. Although, for what it's worth. They're both in my top 3. So it's like trying to choose between caviar and truffles.
