I think Joshua has blasted Whyte's chin across the rubicon, so Whyte bouts are quite interesting against decent opponents because of that. I don't think he has a terrible chin, but he seems strangely vulnerable. In the Joshua bout he seemed to have an incredible chin, he took a ridiculous number of clean punches.

Ruiz has a chance against Whyte, but I would be surprised if Whyte didn't give Ruiz a good battering.

All of which have better resumes than Wilder. What does that make Wilder?

With the exception of Fury v Klitschko, Fury v Wilder 1, Fury v Wilder 2 and Tony Dosh PPV v Klitschko fights, they are all pudding bashers.

We have only seen 4 decent matched fights for the World Heavyweight Championship belts since Fury agreed to fight Klitschko in Dusseldorf.

    Exactly.

This is where the Joshua Matchroom FC crew bring out the "Joshua has fought top 10ers" and "has a deep record" arguments.

A vacant belt between 2 puddings is not recognised by me as a legit World Heavyweight Title fight.

They were evenly matched and a decent fight but it was simply stealing from Fury following the unjustified stripping of the belt.

It was as legitimate as Charles Martin vs Vyacheslav Glazkov, with the victor of that one selling the belt for £3m, for it to then be defended against Molina and Breazeale back-to-back. :risas3:

Hunter is also getting into pudding territory given he ducked Hrgovic to fight an inactive cruiserweight .

He certainly has slipped off the radar.

Thought he looked very good against Bakole and needs to get the big fights - Joe Joyce would be a good fight for both.

I'm not sure if Ruiz is going to be as effective with the weight loss. Some people when they lose weight lose a bit of there durability.

Hopefully in Ruiz next fight we get to see more on how he copes.

That will be the excuse when Ruiz loses. The fact is that in his 10 year career, he hadn't beaten anybody decent apart from Joshua.

He may be able to defeat some decent opponents, but he was always capable of losing to decent opposition, too. He looked rubbish against Arreola but no more rubbish than he looked against Liakhovich et al.

He can be involved in some interesting bouts with other puddings.

Fury - king of the division, standout heavy of this era

Wilder - hardest hitting hw in history, trilogy with fury ensures his place at the top table
BRUTHA USKY - unknown quantity, can he make up the size disparity up at heavy? A win over big Josh gets him that wilder or fury fight

Ortiz / Hunter /Whyteleafe / big Josh / parker / chisora / Joyce / DDD / Ruiz / pulev / Martin / wallin round robin of second tier guys who can all beat each other on any given night.

Martin, Pulev and Chisora definitely can't "all beat each other on any given night".

Chisora, for instance, has had about 10 shots at beating a name, and he has failed every single time.

I believe Hunter will be proven to be comically overrated soon enough.

Exactly, when people debate who has the better record, Fury or Joshua - I will always say Fury simply because he has been in 3 of the 4 decent world title fights (and betting underdog in all 3.) Doesn’t matter if Joshua has beaten more top 10s, his best win is an already dethroned Klitschko.
