If Wilder isnt elite why did Femi fight him back in 2018 or 2019? Shouldnt he have signed to fight him, banjoed him and took the belt from him if it was that easy?

Looks like at least people around Femi or perhaps even the private school wig had their doubts about the fight, otherwise why didnt it happen

An elite fighter can still get knocked out by a world class fighter.

Joshua still got caught by Andy Ruiz after getting over-confident in an exchange.

I think in the heavyweight division being elite vs world class is less black and white. Power and strength play a part and having more skill might not always be enough to negate those qualities.

What does Elite mean ? Wilder can still KO AJ and that is all that matters.

AJ is far more skilled than Wilder that`s why Fury is ducking him and fighting Wildder again instead.

    Boring.

AJ first became [a] world champion over 5 tears ago, Wilder did the same over 6 years ago, and that I know of they've never even nearly come close to arranging a fight together. Says it all.

Duran wasn`t getting battered and he was on another level to AJ anyway, no comparison at all.

Wilder would have KO'd Ruiz. If middle-aged Arreola can land flush, I dare say Wilder can.

I look at Wilder’s record and I notice how long it takes him to stop non-top 10 heavyweights.
Hopefully it doesn’t take Wilder as long to KO Joshua as it did Szpilka 9rds, Ortiz 10rds, Molina 10rds, Arreola 8rds, Duhaupas 11rds etc.
Joshua usually KO’s higher lvl heavyweights quicker than that, which tells me a bit in a fight where it would be who can get to who first.
