AJ is not an elite fighter. He's good, but when speaking of elite, you put yourself in with Loma, Pac, Mayeweather, Golovkin etc. I don't see AJ in that class. I know G, FM and Pac are past it but in their ptime, there was no doubt about their elite status.
Where else did he have to go other than fighting the best heavyweight on the planet right now? (scratches head) He had a lot of choices. Like every other boxer rated below Fury, which is EVERYONE. He's fighting the best on the planet for a THIRD TIME for the WORLD title next. He could've fought any other fighter on the whole planet and they wouldn't be rated HIGHER than Tyson Fury right now. "Wilder will have faced Fury three times, and Joshua's only top level contest against an old, inactive Klitschko at home will still be his only 50-50 bout 4 years later."
