What is the fixation of weight on the heavyweights of the past?

    Let's abolish cruiserweight AND light heavyweight, thus returning boxing to it's Golden Age and allowing today's Fitzsimmons and Marciano's to thrive and earn proper purses.

    Norton, Tyson, Holyfield, Ikeabuchi, W. Klitschko, Joshua, Dubois are the same stuff imo as to the use of chemical substances to improve the mass. I dont think they only eat spinaches like Popeye.

    I know who you would occupy the HW division you propose.
    I was asking which HWs today you were referring to that have much success at under 220.

    It seemed more dramatic from the 70s right into the 90s. Plus, there seemed to be more fights...

    But most of those under 200lbs champions,with a very few exceptions , were not defending against over 200lbs challengers.certainly not ones of any class.
    Which 180lbs fighter would ko Valuev? Not stop,but as you stated knock out?
