Eddy Reynoso announced that they plan on fighting Beterbiev or Bivol in 2022 if they win this September!!

Both can potentially be difficult fights for Canelo but I've always thought that if Canelo can overcome the size disadvantage he can out box either one of them.

Yeah, make Beterviev 40 years old and then fight him. Canelos win will be more significant, when his opponent is at that age, first let him fight GGG when he will turn 40 years

It is what it is brotha.

Canelo is chasing glory. 154, 160, will unify 168, and will be fighting one of the top two LHWs in 2022!! Badass!

Canelos team have made it clear they want aging Beterbiev first who will be 37 in Jan next year and therfore 37/38 by the time Canelo will take him..

Canelos such a legendary fighter, fighting prime guys and that!!

I kinda dont believe it. Bivol is a type of fighter who Canelo hates to fight and he is much bigger than Lara or Trout. Beterbiev is just a menace, Kovalev was calculated risk, he was not in his prime anymore and Canelo knew that he can KO him, since Kovalev got one of the worst chins in LHW.

On the one hand, I'm noticing a trend of Canelo going after guys after they had less-than-impressive performances in their previous outing. On the other, it could have just been layoff and Beterbiev will be his normal destructive self once he works out the Covid kinks. Either way, it is what it is. Canelo has earned a lot of good boy points with me for smashing this trashy-ass super middleweight shitshow of a division, so he might as well spend them.

Excuses, Beterbiev hasn't shown that hes past it and we'll see if he truly is if Canelo fights him. First Kovalev was shot now Saunders, next Plant right ?

Yeah, this strategy is common in todays boxing. You have A side who offers B side a fight, B side is not in a good situation ( had a hard fight only 2 month ago, like you mentioned or what ever ), but doesnt want to refuse a big money fight
