Pretty self-explanatory.....name your favorites. Louis-Schmeling 2 probably, for me. Especially considering the result of the first bout, this was shocking to the eye. It more resembled a butcher hacking up a side of beef than a championship boxing match.
Idk that I have a favorite, but the most recent I saw I really enjoyed was Archer Moore vs. Embrel Davidson.
Ray Boom Boom Mancini vs Art Frias, WBA World Lightweight Title, TKO 1 victory for Mancini, May 8 1982. This fight was very action packed.
First one that came to mind for me. They packed a lot of fighting into less than 3 full minutes. I think this fight was a turning point for Mancini’s manager, Dave Wolf, in his matchmaking approach for Boom Boom. This gave him the idea to keep putting Ray in with brawlers, figuring he was too strong for them. Wolf had a major hard-on for a fight with Kenny Bonner, for instance, yet avoided Howard Davis — who Mancini I think would have beaten down for a decision win in a matchup that could have generated some real money.
Adrian broner vs Jason Litzau. Mike Tyson vs Lou Savarese. Oliver McCall vs Oleg Maskaev. Lamon Brewster vs Andrew Golota. George Bent vs Tommy Morrison
Autocorrect uncorrected it automatically. But I can see the attraction of a poster that says Boom Boom vs. Bang Bang.
