Tank is gonna be 27 in a few months

    And he's been boxing since he could walk. Time to step it up. I've never seen such a skilled fighter and box office star be moved so slowly. You can't blame Wilder's handlers for his career path; they were carrying a bowl of soup in a bouncy house during an earthquake with him. Tank is legit and there is nowhere left to turn to milk his set up.

    135 you either face Lopez or Loma - both very tough fights.

    140 you either face Prograis or Taylor - both extremely tough fights.

    Anything else is a complete and utter disappointment. 27 is not young for a fighter like Tank. He's got mileage on him from a lengthy amateur career (~250 fights) and a LOT of sparring wars. His physical prime will go quick. By 29 he'll be on the slide. Let's see some big fights.

    If he can he should go back to 135 where he has more power. Face whichever fighter pays better, Loma or Teofimo. He gets wrecked either way in my opinion.

    Retire like Hamed before he becomes Adrien Broner.

    His handlers are keeping it in house.. none of those fights are happening. Both him & his team are all repugnant ****ers too, who'd want to deal with them? 'Regular' is the new black. 3 weight gimp.

    Gassiev didn't take up boxing until he was 15, only had 25 amateur fights, and by the time he was 24 was a unified two-belt champion who'd beaten world champions 22-0 Dorticos, 29-1 Lebedev and 53-3-1 Wlod all of whom were his own size and world champions in his division and fought P4P super talent Usyk in an unification match up for all four belts.

    Conversely, Twink took up boxing aged 7 and had 221 amateur fights, what's his excuse?

    Davis' last 5 wins:

    Barrios: Undefeated LWW, 26-0.. but theirs nothing there! No names.. nothing.. & Wtf is a WBA regular belt? Taylor is the WBA champion. Not Barrios.

    LSC: Looks a good win on paper but we all know Leo's best days are long gone, he's been pro 15 years & he was fighting guys like Flores & Rivera in 2019, both of whom had TWO recent losses.. that tells u a lot.. he's no major threat at 130 anymore, he has 1 KO in 5 years too ffs.. & the Frampton years are long gone.

    Gamboa: A near shot 38 year old who'd had 3 fights in 3 years. One of which was a gift decision. & Leading up to those he got sparked by Castellanos in 2017, & didn't even fight in 2016..

    Nunez: Never beaten anyone of note, or won a title.. & was coming off a win over a guy with a LOSING record .. that's the type of opposition that opponent had been facing..

    Ruiz: A career Fly & BW.. has no business at SFW. Looks like he's retired now.

    All this from a guy in his prime & who they call special.. chew on that :lol:

    Loitering around waiting for opportunities, they aren’t pushing him, I don’t see great confidence in his team at all

    Personally I’d love to see him beat the hell out of Garcia, then fight Haney and Loma or Lopez. I think he’s got an issue outside of the ring he gets into trouble a lot especially when he’s drinking. I think they keep a short leash on him and they might need to make it shorter. He’s got all the potential in the world and like you said the clock is ticking.

    LSC is a light-punching 126 pounder who had only had one fight at 130 and that was against another natural 126 pounder, Twink is a very thick-set huge punching natural 135 pounder who has missed weight the first, second or even third time of asking at 130 a whole bunch of times, looked like death on the scales at that weight, had to strip naked a number or times to make 130, and lost his first world title on the scales, came within a whisker of losing his second one at that weight and he even missed weight by over a pound the first time of asking in his official 135 debut when he fought Gamboa's ghost :lol:

    Gamboa if he was younger and in better shape was good.
    Later, these versions does not impress at all. Loma and Nakatani too had finished Gamboa version from fight vs Tank with ease, Garcia and Linares, Campbell too. If they had fought.

    WBA is a joke. I have never seen an international boxing organizing body permits a boxer to hold more than a title.

    After Barrios win, Tank is now...

    ▪WBA Superfeatherweight Super Champion

    ▪ WBA Lightweight Regular Champion

    ▪WBA Lightwelterweight Regular Champion

    The last champion he faced is LSC who got his 130 belt by getting a bypass and ducking the real champion of the division (Machado, Cancio).

    The guy thought he's real deal for holding some belts.
