Classic bench press will increase absolutely nothing in his punching power lmfao.

He should really talk to someone who has the knowledge to discuss the science and mechanics behind punching power with him.

Malik Scott is probably not the right person to do that... :risas3:

On what basis do we make that judgement, though?

On resumes he's miles behind AJ and Whyte (at HW) and even Usyk's best win at HW is arguably equal or better.

Fundamentals he's miles behind AJ and lightyears behind Usyk..

On ring IQ he's not up there either

H2H is always debatable, but Wilder simply ain't proven as an elite level fighter - 90%+ of his career is bums, the rest being fringe contenders, a highly debatable Ortiz (completely hollow resume) and getting embarrassed by the only really serious fighter he's dared fight (Fury).
The only thing Wilder is elite at is ducking - ducked AJ, ducked Whyte, ducked Povetkin, ducked Wlads ghost.

The only argument for Wilder is he punches hard - that's about it.

He might be up there, but with such a pathetic record it's almost impossible to justify it, and he's not likely to want to rectify that before he retires IMHO - his true level (somewhere within the vast chasm between Ortiz and Fury) will probably be forever a mystery.

I'm pretty sure both Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis could have dived through that gap while Wilder was screaming away, then shimmed around and gone for another go.

To be fair it's his best and only chance. Anything else would be a waste of time at this point.

Dubblechin could've got both his chins under there for a good old sniff, too.

Dillian Whyte has a better resume. Hell Wilders resume isn't much better than Kubrat Pulevs. It's that bad

Who is more than a 50/50 fight? Usyk's size is a question. AJ is limited as well, Whyte's very hittable. Whoin the top 10 beats Wilder without question?

Other than Fury, who else in the top 10 beats Wilder without question?

Fury doesn't even beat Wilder without question every single time because Wilders such a devastating puncher, but obviously i favor Fury heavily. I'd favor Aj over him as well, Wilder vs Whyte is a 50/50. Povetkin from 2020 pre covid would be favored over him. Usyk would be favored over him. Joyce the iron chin juggernaut is a favorite and would walk Wilder down and blow his back out LOL, Parker has a solid chin so he could potentially beat Wilder though i wouldn't favor him and stylistically Chisora would cause Wilder all sorts of problems

If Wilder hadn't slept Brazzeal already, you would have put him on the list too. LOL

Bulking up? Wilder must have the dumbest people around him. He has dropped Fury already, the problem isn’t his power but has been landing the punch and lack of an inside game.
