Every fighter has vulnerabilities. Even great ones. But Hearns’ vulnerabilities were pressure and power.

Hearns wouldn’t have been pressured against Floyd.

Floyd wouldn’t have used size and strength to have overpowered him.

He wouldn’t have made him gas out.

Hearns proved that he wasn’t unbeatable in his own career. But his losses were to guys who were completely different to Floyd.

Nobody here is being nostalgic and biased. It’s just that it would have been a terrible stylistic match up for Floyd.

Hearns beat Cuevas and Randy Shields at 147. Therefore, it’s FACT that he knocks out Mayweather in two LOL

I wouldn’t say that it was a fact.

Who’s said that it would be a fact?

    Every fight is different.

    Different styles, different strategies.

Marvin Hagler boxed Duran, but then he jumped on Hearns.

Hearns boxed Benitez, but then he fought very aggressively against Duran.

Floyd would have been in huge trouble if Hearns had’ve chased him down aggressively.

Floyd never fought anyone even close to as powerful as Hearns, even close to as big and long as Hearns, even close to as good of a boxer as Hearns.

Hearns 10/10, would bet my life on it.

Lets hope he doesn't break his rt hand which he did at times !!!... BUT wait !!! Hearns folded his rt early in the fight against a HUGE mw , Murray Sutherland , and Hearns finished the fight out pointing him with the jab !! You are still alive my friend :)

Loudon vs NoNeck is actually less competitive than Hearns vs Mayweather would be.

Floyd has no chance of beating Hearns. There is broad agreement in this thread, only a few Floyd fans still claim to this illusion.

Leonard went the distance with Hagler, Duran and wasn't KOed by the massive punching LHW Donny Lalonde. His only stoppage loss is while aged 40, and after six years inactivity. He had a granite chin. Hearns dropped him twice.

He was injured for Benitez. He won almost every round, dropped him and didn't have access to his hardest punches.

He's perfectly capable of stopping Mayweather, just like he did Duran.

Mayweather knocked out Hatton and Ortiz at 147, which stacks up decently with Hearns’ best knockouts there. Maybe Mayweather would be more likely to knock out Hearns than vice versa. One of these guys never even hit the deck while the other got knocked loopy left and right.

I generally don’t read much of what London writes. He has some weird type of OCD or other mental illness. It’s mean to keep poking him with a stick.

Yeah, they absolutely stand up to KOing Cuevas. Isn't it obvious?

Can you please highlight all the times Hearns was 'knocked loopy' at 147?

Leonard did it at 147, so Hearns moved up and got knocked loopy by a bunch of others.

It must have been the weight cut.
