    To many people on this forum don’t understand that boxing is not just a sport it’s a business and you need to understand how the business works. No point being the best fighter in the world if nobody knows who you are. People who don’t normally even watch boxing are watching Tank fight.

    Not as casual as you would think. He had some name recognition in boxing circles and in Texas/Mexico which made him an ideal opponent plus his belt. You notice the fight was in the South in Atlanta Georgia not in Baltimore Tank’s hometown.

    If Twink was the star you claim he is he could surely sell out arenas and do great TV numbers for a unification match up for all four belts against the king of 140 and the P4P ranked #5 fighter in the world even if Taylor, as Ellerbe and you say, ''brings nothing to the table'' which translates in real talk to we nothing to do with that guy and are going to continue chasing paper champions and regular titles. Surely the fans would come out in their droves to see him fight for the undisputed title and a place in the P4P top 10?

    Revenue wise JT has the belts but brings no added value which he needs to do to make such a fight. It might be harsh but that is the goddam truth at the moment.

    I really wish you would not disrespect fighters calling them nobodies. Liam Walsh was a very good British fighter all Tank’s defeat of him proved and the manner in which he did it was how special a talent Tank. The way you talk it sounds like these guys were crap.

    Tank sells we know that. The point is about the promotion. For a JT fight added value needs to be brought to the table so both guys can maximise. If Tank is getting paid $5/6Million plus against Barrios he should be $10-12Million base pay against JT then add in the PPV gravy. The point is JT cannot as of yet hold up his own side of such a promotion.

    I love JT as well you know. He has 3 things against him though which are he is very good, southpaw and Scottish. The risk reward needs to be right.

    I know you don’t like Tank which is your prerogative but belts don’t secure your future money does and you cannot fault PBC/Mayweather Promotions for making Tank a multimillionaire.

    but the question is why when he will make more money in the US. The A side dictates where fights should happen. Why give JT any such advantage?
