Demetrius Andrade vs Chris Eubank Jr

I like CEJ looked impressive to me in his last fight, where as DA looked like he was struggling.

Could go either way. Neither fighter is overly impressive although Eubanks has the edge in both speed and power, so I lean toward him to stop the boo boo

 

I voted Eubank by decision, though I could easily see Andrade by points too.

I don't see either knocking the other one out, a bit of a case of them cancelling each other out.

Eubank jnr, for all his delusions of grandeur and apparent time wasting, is very game and has never been knocked out...and being a Brit and fighting mostly in England I know his story and his career in greater detail than that of Andrade.

Andrade, I'm less sure of what exactly his true potential is - but I know some rate him highly while others feel he is over-hyped.

That said, most well known fighters today are either the next ATG or an overrated bum...so we'll see.

 

I don't like Andrade but he has good ring iq , is skillful and awkward.

Jnr is more athletic but has next to no ring iq and little skill.

Andrade by relatively comfortable UD.

 

Why do you hate Boo Boo? I am sure if he was fighting Canelo you would be rooting for him. Personally I think Junior can take him now.

 

Neither fighters are great but just prefer Eubank by decision

 

I think Boo Boo Andrade has slipped so won’t be shocked if Junior stops him now.

 

Andrade clowns Eubank Jr. I don't see Eubank stepping into the ring with Andrade.

I think it'll be close, maybe closer than people think.

 

On paper Boo Boo would be slight favourite.

 

If the ref doesn't let Andrade clinch for 30-45 seconds after getting hurt like he did to barely european level Williams (on two occasions) then Eubank knocks him out.

This guy is **** and gets panicky (can see the worry in hiss eyes when he gets hurt) when tagged. Both are trash but I think Eubank is better than Williams who's tough but very one dimensional. Eubank has an equally good chin, arguably better power, and is the better pressure fighter (although still clearly limited) than Williams


Eubank KO or Andrade 7-5 or 8-4

 

Would be Andrade toughest opponent. I think Eubank wins this one.

 

I think we agree it'll definitely be a close one.
