Why do people think it's OK for PBC to freeze him out of fights? Promoters need to work together, simple as that. No one should be forced to sign with someone just to fight them. Don King, you know, the MOST corrupt guy ever in boxing, used to use 'rights' to fighters who fought his guy. None of this is ever Ok.
Crawford is great and boxing fans are entirely unreasonable and hypocritical, but when all is said and done he will have fought just a couple of the twenty to fifty most memorable fighters around his weight class from his time.

They fought who was available, the era was just somewhat devoid of prime talent besides Povetkin, Pulev, Peter, Chambers and Haye. The 90s has Holyfield, Bowe, Mercer, Morrison, Moorer, Rahman, Tua, Golota, Sanders, Mccall, Bruno, Tyson, Donald and Grant and you can add fighters like Akinwande and Mavrovic if you want
I rate Crawford but there's no denying his lack of a signature win over a big name opponent looks bad. Maybe he can do what Calzaghe and Hopkins did later on and finally get that big fight, hopefully vs Spence but he deserves all the criticism he is getting until he does get that signature fight.
Crawford isn't frozen out. He rejected the Porter fight. Twice. Arum's dying to set him up w/ a big name to make back some money.
