I'd say Ali and Holyfield beat the most "Legends". Not many people match their resumes. Most great fighters may only have 1 or two legends on their resume.

    Ray Leonard beat:
    Wilfred Benitez
    Thomas Hears
    Roberto Duran
    Marvin Hagler

All four are always in the top 100 boxers of all-time.
I'd say that's pretty impressive considering 2 were unbeaten at the time and one had only lost once prior.

So lets see. He beat one of the greatest middleweight fighters of all time-EASILY in the top ten middle weights EVER.
He beat the boxer who was the youngest fighter to ever win a World Title AND is a three weight class champion.
Beat Hearts who is a FOUR weight division champion also more then likely top ten welterweights of all-time.
Made Duran quit who then went on to capture not one but TWO world titles after. Also considered one of the greatest to ever lace them up.

With the exception of Hagler beat all of them in their prime or pretty close to it.

If your not impressed by that your just showing that your a Leonard hater.

Britton was a lightweight when McFarland beat him, and even complained about McFarland's weight advtantage due to McFarland coming in overweight. The Mike Gibbons fight was at 147Ibs, and Owen Moran was a Featherweight.

I thought gibbons was 150 when they fought (just looked it up and packey was 153 and gibbons 152! You are right about Britton being a lightweight who cares about his complaint he was 146 when he fought benny leonard who was 139 did he make not about that then?
Yes Moran was a feather , a feather who can destroy bigger guys in the lightweight division (Battling Nelson) good post thought!

    The Racine Journal-News- 1913 Dec 09 (page 9)
    BY PACKEY McFARLAND
I Knew [sic] I would beat him and I did it fairly. I do not think I was treated right by the crowd. It was my own buiness what I weighed, as the match was made at catch weights.
    BY JACK BRITTON
Packey must have weighed close to 150 pounds. If he makes any wind of weight I can stop him. He ought to be fighting Clabby and Chip.
    BY EMIL THIRY
    (Manager of McFarland)
Packey only weighed 141 when ge [sic] got on the scales for Mr. Liginger. I know There are rumors that I am to be ousted from the McFarland camp after this fight. I don't anticipate any such treatment.
    BY DAN MORGAN
    (Manager of Britton)
Packey was a middleweight last night and Britton a lightweight. Jack hold him even. I think that's a wonderful performance. Britton will be lightweight champion if Ritchie will give him a chance.

    Great work, Henry!

Though with the bar set at 7 HOFers defeated, I would have liked to see Johnny Risko included - the only non-HOFer (as you of course know) to have accomplished this.

The weights on boxrec were unofficial ring weights (in ring costume). The conditions of the fight were making 147.

New York Tribune- 1915 Sep 12 (Sporting Section page 2)
The men weighed in at 147 pounds at 3 o'clock, making the weight easily, and entering the ring, McFarland weighing 152 pounds, Mike 153.
