We can't say "F the sanctioning bodies and all the titles" and in the same breath say "We care so much who has the super duper ABC title."

 

Hard to keep track of all the belt bs anyway. Everyone knows where Manny stands in the Division, without the 'help' of stupid belts.

 

Honestly who cares it really adds nothing to the fight and only benefits the WBA so they can get their share of the money via sanctioning fees.

 

Pac's bigger than the belts and has been for a long time. There could be no belts on the line and personally for me it wouldn't matter at all, it's beating Spence that adds to his legacy not how many belts he picks up.

It shocks the hell out of me that the WBA can't see their way to giving him the belt back. Everyone they screw over and somehow the rules matter here?

It makes no sense, maybe Pac didn't wants to keep this last purse and isn't willing to pay whatever bribe they were looking for.

No one would care about Plant without a belt, people are going to watch Canelo and Pac regardless. Spence is somewhere in between.

You can't compare Canelo/Plant to Spence/Pac. Plant is only a title holder with no realistic claim to being the best while Spence is seen as the number 1 welter and Pac a living legend. Plant needs the belt to legitimise him, Spence and Pac don't require the belts to do so as they've proven themselves time and again by beating the best available.

I only care about the best fighting the best, whether the belts are unified or not only matter if it results in the best fighting the best. Pac/Spence happens whether the WBA belt is on the line or not so they are irrelevant to me. The champion makes the belt not the other way round.

Well he said it was 11 years. Well, Mr. Pacqiao you did a BUSINESS course in 2008 which you didn't finish. Then enrolled in sept 2019 and graduated in Dec 2019 in political science. You lied mate.
