Don’t just take my word for it listen to Showtime Head of Boxing Stephen Espinoza. When you have the endorsement of Showtime, Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Canelo Alvarez, Eddy Reynoso etc you are clearly doing something right. As the saying goes real recognises real. This content is protected
Does Mr.Espinoza have any reason to be biased? Is there a benefit to him and Showtime if Tank is mentioned in the media constantly, in articles and videos, which gain clicks by making the boldest and most controversial statements? Does Mr.Espinoza qualify as a boxing expert or is he a t.v/entertainment marketing expert? I mean, if Canelo is fighting on DAZN would we be surprised if the head of DAZN claimed he could beat Bertibiev (as an example) because he, Canelo, is actually the best LHW on earth? The only opinion of Davis that has any merit is that of the people who have been in the ring with him. I'm happy to say he's the best at 135 or 140 if he beats the best and they then agree Tank was unstoppable and is the best they've ever fought. A slick salesman who gains from people buying into the story of Tank, and who understands the social media game of publicity and clicks, doesn't strike me as unbiased and credible.
Fake news by his sponsers. Whomever is paying to see pudge ko b level and shot fighters is being fleeced.
Mr Espinoza is also a fan but fundamentally a business man. Tank is making money for Showtime boxing so the fact he is a box office and pay per view hit reflects what you call bias. You always favour your best customer.
Canelo not currently on pay per view because he has been fighting on DAZN App. Though saying that excellent Caleb Plant fight could be on Fox PPV platform instead of DAZN.
He goes where he wants You know it I mentioned that any network signs him over Tank to combat that predictable answer Olu
Canelo and Tank like each other. Real recognized Real. Tank thinks Canelo is the P4P King right now. Canelo likes Tank so much he and Eddy Reynoso allowed Tank to use their “No Boxing No Life” protected logo.
But he isn't the PPV king, nowhere close and while Canelo is still boxing and winning, Tank (or anyone else for that matter) will not claim that crown. C'mon man... a 'barrister' should be able to make a better defence than that....
And my original point stands... 'becoming' also means 'has yet to become', ergo... 'isn't' It's really not that hard to understand. No further questions, your honour....
