    Why would we as fans of the sport care who is or who isn't a P4P king.

    As long as the best fight the best, we don't care what they earn.

    no, not at all. only three fighters are reliable ppv sellers: Pacquiao, Joshua and canelo. you know why? because the general public outside of boxing fans know who they are. Tank davis is a complete unknown to everybody but hardcore boxing fans, if that wasnt the case you wouldnt need the head of the network he fight in making videos trying to promote his name.

    The Cruz fight did 200k something on PPV.
    And Espinoza is a lying little weasel. He ran SHO boxing to the ground. How he has not been fired is beyond me.

    Davis last fight on regular SHO got barely any viewers. Loma´s last fight on ESPN blew those numbers out of the water.

    These days, legacy fights bring the money. This is no longer the time when champs made 5 figures per title fight.
    Big time prospects make 700k before even fighting legit contenders.

    You miss the point that which is that Tank is starting to resonate beyond hard core boxing fans. That is the point. He is selling out arenas now people who don’t normally watch boxing are starting to tune in which is why he is on the trajectory he is on.

    He is well on his way,
    Once he Beats Ryan García he will
    Absorb that fan base as well,

    thus making him the “A-$ide” to any LW fight moving forward.

    & if the other LWs refuse to “bend the knee” they simply won’t get the fight.

    I’ve seen this movie before.
    It doesn’t end well for we the fans.

    Too late, Fury got his foot in the American market whilst American assets stalled. Now his rise will be unstoppable, soon Canelo will be begging just to be on his undercard.

    of what you are saying.

    hating on Tank & Canelo.
    Why?

    tank is a legit PPV attraction.
    Sure Lomanchenko is an amazing legacy fighter
    That Tank should aspire towards (Resume wise - I can concede that point)

    however Canelo is fighting 3-4 times a year, fighting for undisputed this year. & taking on legit champions other then the 1 bunk mandatory. (Yildrim)

    who do you put above Canelo in his weight class?
    Who is fighting more champions?
    Or just fighting more fights for that matter?

    He is not a boxing man. The words he spouts proves that . I would go so far as to say Quina hates boxing. He only comes to this site because he is a social misfit who comes to spew hate. I have always said we don’t all have to agree. I certainly don’t want to live in a world where we all do. However one thing I feel we should all have in common is our love of boxing unfortunately that does not apply to him. He has a specific agenda and I will broker no discussion with people like him.
